its likely end of 2016 will hit 500 usd, but who knows? it may surpass 500 usd if only there big event or development going on.

The price shall rise gradually when it gets used more.

The price of Bitcoin is probably not going to hit 500 USD per coin agian for a while. There is going to have to be a lot more adaptation before we see a number that big again. After halving next year we should see something.

Yes I too expect bitcoin will reach $500 level by end of this year or surely in January of 2016. Since it's last big down fall from January 2015, never made a big leap towards $500 mark. But now we can expect for a higher price with eye on halving to happen soon.

We all hope halving can do the magic, but it may not happen, as it has already been priced in.

I can only see bitcoin reaching $500 possibly in 2016 at the halving..At that time bitcoin will soon rise to some extent because of decrease in supply but don't expect it to rise too much..Before 2016, i don't see if bitcoin can really even cross 350$ because currently demand is very low since many months and bitcoin prices are stuck between $230 to $260

The current bitcoin price is near around ~$250 so not bad for this month.
I hope also that if bitcoin reaches ~$300 by the end of the year should be considered as a success.
The maximum at July 2016 at the halving period can reach $350 - $400.

For this year is really hard to think that bitcoin price will reach 500 USD again.
By this year trend it would be perfect if this year ends by 300$ the price of a bitcoin.
Maybe by end of the next year (2016) it can be reachable again for $500.

If you confidence price will reach to 300 before end of this year, i think we still have a hope to see price in range 450-500 before halving. Will see where price will going on

Well this is just a speculation the current price is ~250 USD,
Which is pretty good since August, but it can reach $300 too by the end of this year.
Before halving not but after that the price maybe could reach 500$ as the OP mentioned.

very possible. which affects only the time. you have to be patient to achieve significant bitcoin movement.

My vote is for middle of 2016 to reach the price of Bitcoin at 500 USD.There is already a steady increase which will take this rise to that level after halving and overall price will be stable.
