I would have to say,smart investors will start to accumulate in the beginning of 2016. The price will be a little lower! As as we get closer to the halving stage, ;)the latecomers will start buying the and the BIG exchanges will push that right up and over the $500 mark and settle down in late Sept around $420...... Smart investors starting to accumulate now. And FYI if more are acquiring coins it will boost the pump volume that will lead to bitcoin price increase.

And because of the thoughts in the upcoming halving, many more will acquired coins that will gives a much boost in price. Overall, because of thoughts that's why price will increase near halving.

I voted for Middle of 2016 and seems that most of the people think like me , i am a bit surprised with the percentage of "never", $500 will be reached at least during the next year, after the halving period.

Well, bitcoin seems to have a hard time to stay at a solid $400 so I don't think we will reach $500 this year anymore. But for sure next year. If $400 would be the new $200, I'd say we've improved in value.

I don't think it would be anytime sooner than second quarter of 2016 but again it's the matter of time and market situation it might go up to $450 during Feb-March as well and keep fluctuating and let's hope it doesn't drop down

For a clearer view to everyone posting some dates or whatever, even tomorrow possibility of reaching 500 has a chance literally.

Rather stating some dates, best answer will be, based on 'if'.

Examples are: The price will reached $500 if..

.. more pumps will execute every hour..

.. halving ..... etc..

.. the price will have a support...

..and so on and so forth.

i strongly believe that its possible for such thing to happen in this month before the next year because the price seems to be stable right now at 400 so we need to buy a bit more and it will be done

stable right now like it was before the last pmp, when we were near 300, so if everything go as i'm thinking it will go, then the next step will be, being stable around 500

although not sure if this is doable in 20 days

It's hard to say this. If it keeps raising in value like it did for the last 2 weeks then yes we are able to see bitcoin reach $500 before the year ends.
If it's not raising in value then I think it will be sometime early next year.

I think it will reach 500 usd on nearly christmas or maybe before newyear.
Since the price still pumping before end of this month the price should be rise to 500 before newyear. Its just my speculation
