Very hard to see it even reach that level by the end of the year the way it is acting on the price today.
Might see it at mid mark by June.July next year.

We have seen how fast the bitcoin price moved from 200s to 400s almost ~500, so everything is possible and within few weeks if big exchanges(those who pump the price) they can easily bring up the price to 500 usd again.

We have seen how fast the bitcoin price moved from 200s to 400s almost ~500, so everything is possible and within few weeks if big exchanges(those who pump the price) they can easily bring up the price to 500 usd again.

But I do see everything due to halving. The Chinese wished to take the possible bottom so they started in October itself. I believe by December end for another round of pumping. So, I strongly believe bitcoin prices may reach $500 to $600 levels again by this year end.

I didn't vote as I honestly don't know when it will happen but I think it ill get there again eventually but it will be more of a slow growth and could take time. I do think bitcoin will go back to 1k again but this could take a few years maybe even around 5.

But people are mostly giving their view about bitcoin's price as It will reach some beyond in this year end itself. I would like that happen soon because I have some BTC with I wanna sell for some good fiat currency range. So I am waiting for that

I think mid 2016, since july 2016 the  blockhalving will be due.

This reduced block reward to 12.5 BTC. With other words miners need more value to run their asic miners.

I don't think only the halving will force price to rise. If reward is decreased there may be some miners leaving mining and selling all of their coin forcing price to go down. So there is 50/50 chance on mid 2016.

Why the selling of the coins of the miners who will leave must happen exactly when they will leave? I think totally different thing. The leaving of mining doesn't mean for sure hate of bitcoin or less like or love for it by them. Mean that their understand that cannot earn more mining. Only this and nothing else. This fact, according to me, must have as a reaction only one thing. The opposite of that told by the above poster. Not only the hold of the bitcoins earned since that day from the mining and stop of the selling if made since that moment (they again will believe on bitcoin for sure) but even the search of possibility to have others (which will compensate the lack of earnings from the mining). So we will have another, totally different, situation. They not only will not be more part of the supply but will be part of the demand, increasing this last even more. Result: big and more probability to have higher price compared with the situation if they will continue to mine again. So double possibility of increase of price. First, because will be less coins in the market, second, can be verified probable increase of demand because of above told.

That's too high of an expectation for the end of this year or early 2016. We might reach $500 in mid-2016.

I agree that this is a pure chart painting, we just touched $500 mark (which will be saved as the top in the statistics), but we didn't manage to show convincing volume there. But that is quite typical for the tops not only in Bitcoin, usually very few trades happen on the absolute top or very close to it.

Price going in zigzag way We can't predict it as it is. Media continuously talk about Bitcoin and that is yet not the reason to rise to $500. A speculative rise is possible, but I would expect it in the beginning of the spring.
Now having said that, I think that we need some fundamental developments to happen in order to have a healthy rise. Otherwise, it will end up as quickly as the previous one, three weeks ago.
