Placebo is pretty pro-active about engagement, I will give him that. See him on Yobit quite a bit and posting on here as well. It will pay off in the long run.

That's pretty revolutionary marketing gameplan. I like it.

thank you
@placebo evrybody can  see you are trying,
but you have to get explicid to get the community.

I made for you a personal follow-this-and-get-this-going:

0) announce you are following this, to give you two days time
00) get your BTC back from exchange, its wasted money and doesn't help you anything,
but allows 1-2 people to exit, enough users waiting for this oportunity,
you can do things like that later, to to push momentum, but thats what you have to create first:

EUROPECOINS guide to shameless Altcoin Marketing (version 1 alpha)

1) name your goals short-turn, long-term, in-your-wildest-dreams (I do do all that usually still with analog pencil an paper lol),
2) write down a narrative  (story) to give  everything a "face", what you wrote in your op, was not that bad, as a startingpoint
(rule numer one: your story is your coin, your coin is your story)
3) always keep telling this story over and ove and extend it with the events, that are happening,
(meaningless events are better, then no events, nobody awaits a sensation all the time)
3) Write down what's missing to get there and then sort the task, by what should happen next, to reach your goal, always move!
4) sort your goal by what have to happen next and pin it on your computer
4) put all this into a official new roadmap (narrative, goal, status, do-do-list)  and announce the roadmap (shouting is an artform!!!)
5) pick task per task and
5.1) search for a helper for just this one single task, or do it yourself, but announce everything (im doing this, now happened this and so on) never forget asking for  help.
5.2.) best chance to get somebody, is identifying somebody, you know, he can do it and name him when asking
5.3.) slowly accelerate the demand for help, reward helpers, announce when rewarding (shouting is an artform)
6) give status reports at least weakly (name the tasks, name the staus, repeat asking for help)
7) SHOUT on every success
Cool never excuse situations, never say sorry, never blame anybody, take everybody serious, ignore those who don't take YOU serious, stay serious
9) read thread of coins, that have a good markeing and learn what they ar doin good, don't waste your time by commenting, like io am doing  here Wink
read MY thread, copy everything you like (marketing is an artform and art is about sharing and enhancing) https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=901605
10) go to 1) a and do it again

have fun and
enjoy a rewarding altcoin community[/size]

Yes, it will pay off in the long run, but i have problems with getting it on bigger exchanges...  Cryptsy try so many people, still nothing. Trex, i don't know why... but it looks like they make it so damm hard for coins to get added on their exchange, most likely because of those scams, but still they know me so... they know that i'm not leaving.

Short update:

As Bittrex didn't add Freedomcoin i want to launch a so-called interest rate compagn that people will receive BTC when they deposit their FRDC to a certain fund address.

How will it work?

People will be able to send there coins to this fund address and select a given time frame that they want to store there coins. Based on the time frame a specific % will be paid out.

Example: User Michael want to deposit 10,000 FRDC coins for 1 month. What needs to be done?

1. Michael send the 10,000 FRDC to the fund address
2. Michael send a PM with the time frame he wants to keep those funds in that address.
3. I store everything on Google docs so that everybody knows who has deposit money to this address
4. After 1 month those 10,000 FRDC coins will be send back to the original FRDC address and he will receive his interest rate in BTC for the specific time.

What those that mean for existing holders of FRDC?

1. Less coins on the market, so higher price is expecting.
2. People earn BTCs when there coins are locked for a period of time.

Another topic

Webshop using FRDC coins. This will be combined with ROS so that the cost can be reduced.

I like it, certainly a step in the right direction.

On another note, I guess this is as good a time as any to thank the person who sold me 8k @ 366 the other day.

Those 8 K just brought my average down a bit from the ICO price. Not a whale, you want to see a whale you should see my mother in law  Grin

BTW are you getting anywhere on deciding the interest rate?

There are 400,000 COINS - there is 12 BTC in ICO money.

I was thinking with blocks of 10,000 it will give you 0.02 BTC per month (max. total = 0.80 BTC)

It give a return of 0.05 BTC for 2 months (max. total cost = 2 BTC)

It give a return of 0.10 BTC for 3 months (max. total cost = 4 BTC)

Those returns are all based on multiples of 10,000. So if you would have 50,000 and put it away for 3 months then you will get 0.50 BTC after those three months.

I'm also planning to buy a significate amount of coins myself as i believe the price will move higher because of above and it allow me to keep this program solid for several months/years. As the coins that i would buy at 2000sats should be worth a lot more next year.

Finally some movement in the right direction.

Maybe this is stupid, but trying to get it added to Steakcloud, with your previously cited "payback" system
could make for some serious movement.

I'm in talk with 2 website developers. And asking the price how much they want and what is included.

I've receive a offer for the website. Website will include ROS and Freedomcoin. Waiting for the second person to come back.

I'm working on the draft version how i want the website to look, but with the work of a real website designer it will look much better, more professional etc.

Will keep you up to date.
