This was to be expected. BFL selected the cheapest foundry to make their ASICs. So their design was stolen by rogue employees, or even the unscrupulous company itself, and clone chips are now going to be manufactured, and sold on the grey market.

That site reeks of fraudulent activity, please be very careful and do not let greed get your money taken. I am really not sure you should buy "Even more hasharete with this ASIC! 60Ghash", can we even use hasharete for Bitcoin anyway? I am just curious what that pic is of anyway. Any image searchers here? EDIT: I found it here: http://www.crevinn.com/ipdevelop.phpand here: http://www.asice.com/DesignServices.htm

Thas what they answered:
I get some good connection for lower fees importing from USA. I'm working with BFL. I'm optimistic, so I think in 2-3 weeks they will start shipping. I'm trying to make a 2 line for orders. Also I'm waiting the total shipping cost to add on the site. And another thing. I'm not getting any profit from any product. That's my good mood to promote BFL products.
Everything will be tracked (shipping,..) so no SCAM from me. I'm just BTC and other cryptocoin user It's up to you choose where to buy.

Beside hardware there is also "Firmware" so you can't just nick the ASIC design and expect it to work.

Well, it isn't completely unheard of to import stuff, but I can't really see why BFL or others would be willing at this point to resell anything as everything is ripped of their hands before they can even spell ASIC. Other thing, I would not buy anything from a seller who doesn't even want to pay expenses of designing or hosting their site. I do not think its a scam per say, but very amateurish attempt. I wouldn't trust this guy to hold my beer, let alone $1300.

He's probably just attempting to resell in Europe. The only question, as underlined by the others, is which sort of relationship does he have with BFL.

If true, where's the import tax, did he get a big rebate? Slovenia is part of the EU, so it would save $300 tax/custom fees at least getting one Single SC ($1387 incl. ship USA to EU) from there. So probably not real?

It smells to scam , why would have BFL a reseller? BFL is known enough in this little worldwide market, people buy directly to they, have a waiting list and clients preorder and pay months before. They don't need a distribution net wich to pay commissions. Maybe in other states of market but not in this. Would have BTCFPGA.com a reseller? Selling at same price than you. IF the answer is yes I want to be your reseller. Regards

What kind of mickey-mouse webhosting are they using that would lead to that? (Not that I'm expecting this site to in any way be legit...if anything, this is another point against them.)

How do you guys find these shoddy sites? And why would BFL be related to him anyways? Because he decided to copy the prices from the BFL site and/or replied he's working with them?

Looks kinda dodgy, and on an unrelated matter, some douche swiped my netbook on a train in Slovenia once. I guess I was silly to look away from it, even for a minute or ten (distracted by friendly US tourists, LOL).
