So that's like $0.12. Not a lot one can do these days with a dime. Still, you could give it away as a tip, or donate it somewhere.

@Hydrogen,

Konichua and panda1 are right. If you mine for coins you will be able to collect more, and the best way to do this is registering in a mining pool.
There are several to choose from. You can start from here: https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Comparison_of_mining_pools

Not sure if you have a great computer or a great graphic card, but here's an estimated value...
Mining at a rate of 20 Mhash/s in about 24 hours you will be able to get around 0.01 BTC.

If you have a better graphic card you will be able to collect more!

I wish good luck, and good mining! Smiley

keep it ... given the beliefs of BTC community, btc could possibly take over as the world currency. According to https://infocus.credit-suisse.com/data/_product_documents/_shop/323525/2011_global_wealth_report.pdf , total wealth of the world in 2011 is 231 trillion.

If and when btc becomes the world currency (AND world wealth doesn't go up), your 0.01 btc will become

0.01 / 21 000 000 * 231 000 000 000 000 = USD 110 000.  Roll Eyes

how did you get that estimate of 20 mhash/s in 24 hours is around 0.01 BTC?
i mine at around 270 mhash/s.  13x faster, granted it dont leave my computer on 24/7 but that should mean i would get about 0.1 BTC in about 2 hours and that is clearly not the case.  not even close.

Sign up at bitme.com, send it to your wallet there, and put an ask on there for $100/BTC or something.

You can send it to a friend on the other side of the planet. Then have him/her send it back to you. It is fun!
