Im using compiled wallet from source on linux (no gui , just the cli) ... so its just the basic ./go-soil/build/bin/gsoil and from it i do personal.unlockAccount(eth.accounts[0], "passwd")
eth.sendTransaction({from:eth.accounts[0], to:"addr_to", value: web3.toWei(amount, "ether")})
!? That is interesting. I also am running gsoil (1.6.7) on linux compiled from source using go (1.8.3).

i downloaded the windows SOILSafe wallet and used it to make the transactions, also first try was with the default fee, this didn't go through, so i increased the fee some more and that went through!

try increasing the fee at the bottom of the send form (there is a slider for it) ... that worked for me!

With your encouragement I pushed it up almost to the maximum and I started getting confirmations back. Based on this behavior I would assume that manually increasing the gaslimit via the gsoil client may also work. Does this mean that nodes have their minimum gas "cranked way up" or is it a problem with the defaults?? Anyways...thanks for the help... Seuss

It does ... but is slow, and unresponsive, and I don't know why. Perhaps because the log files had gone up to 118,032,257 for gsoil, and 37,051,554 for ABEESOIL? Or why-ever ... doesn't matter much, because - It is working again: Try these: If there have been any recent changes, the "mined" and "Supply" are probably wrong still. How did I do this? I have restarted the droplet 178.62.133.174, the blockexplorer, and the gsoil node, and the eth-net-intelligence-api client. But ... at first my gsoil did not find any other nodes. What a relief, finally it did: admin.addPeer("enode://4651f0386642f90bd7185fd8567fcf6c899675370c8e9093ad090eb1628fe50ebfe53abfcae89bd2497d22da819966d45b78e986ebf3ee9589be30fe05fdfa2d@95.183.10.198:39420") admin.addPeer("enode://6d3a030b4bb68e559085e34fc80abc53371cc89e62cd806e0f9feefdd175f672f68866d3fa007d994390485d872bd58a5f2008dd6a67a741c170dc64b4bf9b1a@213.136.76.42:39420") admin.addPeer("enode://7968705a5a1c9c84a64e1b3985e8605140a10bc8e68e9fd867605a7385b880b7ce945421fc92ad35a5caa573b988a22f5382cf478f8bc785d93324a5b89b71aa@37.187.76.123:39420") admin.addPeer("enode://46fce6fdc328596df97c8c2e4d1744b9bf5bfd540ff8cf95e4880d797bd92e2cb52a81f38a9a49e51079f875c1adbdc2d4d6f503253e2d7188a494d421bd968b@178.62.133.174:30403")

Looks like http://178.62.133.174:9001/#/util/peers filled up pretty well. Just one observation. I can see my node in the list: admin.addPeer("enode://b9456fcc4d24602dd1306fae582f0625378519acc23af4d178424c00d911baaadd899fb96b1e431e5ca66245087b641324208f3058839644bacb64b56814b115@51.15.130.151:39420 However, it's listening on port 30403 and not 39420. I think there was a change in one of the latest releases. Not sure if this matters at all...

It's just a guess, but try v1.6.1 or v1.6.4, most nodes seems to run on these versions? Might be a "glitch" with 1.6.7? In case this doesn't help... maybe some upnp/network/firewall settings? I never understood how the Ethereum p2p stuff works. BTC is more straightforward at that part.
