Is Bitcoin the future of online gambling?

I think it is a good assumption that bitcoin can become very popular in gambling and become the money (token) to use easily in online gambling casinos.
because it is easy to use, fast and anonymous so everybody can use it from everywhere and gamble. besides when using bitcoin, you don't have to rely on anybody (like your bank) and you manage your money on your own. so you don't have to be afraid of their rules or any annoying other stuff.

Im looking forward that most of popular betting sites especially those in sports line accept bitcoin as payment method. Although it requires more research before doing that (bitcoin usage is vary per country so some of popular ones will not consider bitcoin for the meantime), I know they can keep up a good terms about it.

Im not talking to those betting site that already accepting bitcoin. What I mean is those betting site that doesn't accepting bitcoin yet. These are the betting sites that I think are running for long time now in the sports bet industry industry. I like those in Sports Bettings Sites especially those NBA betting sites to accept bitcoin so that converting it to countries main currency is not a problem anymore.

agree! once pokerstars accepting bitcoin it was a big step to bitcoin future as major digital currency but it is not an easy job.

I use to think so too but Bitcoin will have to fix itself up, the recent attacks on Blockchain can really mess things up, I lost a few bets because either they were delayed due to spam attacks or they were pruned from database because the previous transaction changed it's ID. So until these gaps are filled which gives these attackers/hackers free entry to play with transactions or slow them up, I don't think it can become the future. And this is a serious obstacle which Bitcoin needs to over come.

Its true that bitcoin in gambling is pretty easy to use but fast I dont think so because fast or not it depends on your site and blockchain too. Nowadays people are having this blockchain problem that take a longer time to do some deposits and withdrawal

These scenario are really a big deal especially in those popular gambling sites. If a popular gambling site will adopt bitcoin as one of their accepting currency then it must really fixed. What I can say is there are many people that know bitcoin already, but the gambling site are still not yet promote their site to everyone else, just from campaing you can't attract outside people, thats why many gambling site is not really popular outside and still the players are from this forum

i think bitcoin is not only the future of online gambling but also it is the perfect thing for it too. the ability to send micro-transactions alone is enough to make bitcoin (or cryptocurrencies in general) a suitable option for online gambling.

on top of that cryptocurrencies like bitcoin always have low fees in comparison and they are too fast. besides they can be anonymous which can be usefull in some cases.

yeah i agree!!! big casinos will be hesitant to accept bitcoin because of its value and security.
they may accept bit coin if the value is stable and the security is solid, but im not sure if many gamblers
