I think the opposite as you. When the price of the bitcoin surge, i see more people start to gamble with alt coins as it is cheaper. I still remember when the price of bitcoin shoot up, a lot of people start to change to ltc as it becomes more affordable as compare to btc. Owning 0.01btc is not as satisfying as owning 10s of ltc. That is why a lot of the btc casino now change the domination to mbtc so you will whole numbers of tokens in your gambling wallets.
