I think it is! Even some of the largest online sports books are recognizing the potential of bitcoins. Gamblings sites like 5dimes, bet365, betonline and heritagesports are all accepting bitcoins now. Before they were fiat online bookies. That is how much bitcoins has influences the online gambling scene.

I dont really recall that they allow bitcoin deposit however they probably might not unless some day in the future, SEC approves bitcoin ETF. It will also take some time after it is being approved to be added to those sites . Unless gambler show a good amount of interest on those then it probably wont be added

Kindly check their websites man! They completely offer bitcoin as a way to deposit into your account. For sure you just commented away just for the hell of it and did not even check. Why do you need approval from SEC to use bitcoins as a deposit method? You don't need it, btw. ETF is just a move to have bitcoins placed in the US stock exchange!

I checked 5dimes and bet365 does indeed have bitcoins as a way to deposit and play in their sports books. I guess erwin did not check this out. I don't think there is a regulation that disallows gambling sites to accept bitcoins as their way of playing. I agree, ETF does not affect gambling sites at all.

Yes true, with bitcoin all transactions became simple, quick and full privacy. I'm sure the future of online gambling is such a bitcoin, because all the features needed for gambling transactions exist in the bitcoin.

I do believe on it also, we saw the vast increase of gambling sites and it is keep on ramping the industry. Nowadays i can see the future of gambling where there are lots of gambling website everywhere in the internet most of the time people will choose this than going to real gambling people will want to hide their identity for their safety. But here in my country central bank already considered bitcoin as our secondary currency.

A very smart thinking, it is basically people who want to do gambling will hide their identity, because after all, gambling is a place that has a bad disebagian of the people in the world. But not denied as well, indeed with gambling right we can get great benefits. But as I said to the thread, there are now casinos that requires your information, well, it is their security measures to avoid scams and something like that. But we cant still remove the fact that the future of online gambling is really bitcoon, and many gambling sites and casinos now are accepting them.

not really sure about it , can you imagine what would happened when you see the bitcoin price dropped to below $10 ? or maybe skyrocketed to $10,000 or so? i doubt a common fiat casino would ready to accept that risk to adopt bitcoin as their currency to play. need a lot of times to considering bitcoin to fully accepted as online casino currency.

I think in the future the gambling will become online because bitcoin help to earn money. Who have a bitcoin they wants more profit and gambling is a part of bitcoin market. I do no think Bitcoin alone will be the future of online gambling.  More probably it is better to say cryptocurrency as a whole is the future of online gambling.  Bitcoin will become so expensive that other player will move to more cheaper altcoin to have access to Casino in a cheaper way.  The days of fiat currency in online gambling is numbered.  So definitely cryptocurrency if not Bitcoin alone, will be the future of online gambling.
