When this thread was first started, then the answer was YES.  Now it's a definite NO.  I'm sure that everyone is well aware of bitcoin's current issues and the high transaction fees are no longer worth it.

It is still the future of online gambling. Let's try to remove first about the current issues and let's just absorb the good thing about it's anonymity, without requiring us to input information needed for a transaction. I can say that bitcoin is still the future of online gambling and those fees are just normal thing, don't expect everything to become free and cheap forever.

It should be but with the involvement of altcoins in the gambling industry, bitcoin now have a competitor.  More and more people are using altcoins due to the faster transaction and cheaper transaction fee.  If Bitcoin scalability is not fixed then, I think it is another altcoin that is the future of online gambling

It may very anonymous but it's a secured way for us to gamble online and it's very convenient as well because you don't need to go to actual casinos to gamble. Just have to avoid scam sites to take your bets away.

Competitions are everywhere and for some other gamblers they are some that prefer to gamble with ETH or any other alt coins. But bitcoin will always be the medium of gamblers to pay or deposit for their gambling activity. And that is the reason why others just want to gamble with alt coins but still they prefer bitcoin.

It's here but bitcoin gambling is not yet dominating the gambling industry, majority of the gamblers population still prefer gambling using fiat as they think it is more safer or they have not known bitcoin yet. Time will come that they will learn and understand bitcoin, IMO bitcoin is the best tool to gamble since it's fast and easy, we can have fun anytime and anywhere as long as we have online access.

Yes, because compare to the actual casinos in the real world, online casinos is more richer to them, why? because of this cryptocurrencies which prices are always changing, unlike fiat, which do have a fixed price. using cryptocurrency for place a bets in gambling games is really help us to playing gambling because we don't have use our real identity so i think in the future, crypto currency have a good chance for online gambling and people still using crypto currency to playing gambling. i am agree to avoid scam sites so we can playing gambling with safe and not to worried to get scam and losing our money in that site.

I think it's kind of a perfect fit because of the anonymous nature of bitcoin and how easy it is to transfer funds. Don't know if BTC will replace FIAT in online gambling but for it will be a strong competitor

For sure majority of gamblers are using bitcoins as it is easy and convenient to transact with. However, high-end gamblers may still prefer gambling with fiat money and on brick and mortar casinos.

I do know some indians people that does play with bitcoin, because gambling isnt allowed at their country, soo taking those into consideration i would say that crypto currencies are allowing them to give a try into a world with a lot potencial and risks as well. Being the future i dont know but its already helping others to give a try.

Can you trace a bitcoin by just looking at it's transactions? NO! That is because it is anonymous. There is no data showing where it came from. There is no IP embedded on a bitcoin transaction.

Even with the Casinos functioning with fiat People provide wrong information and participate just to avoid the age restriction and other security issues. So each user has got different thinking and convenience with the bitcoin and fiat usage for gambling. I personally haven't never used fiat once after started using bitcoin for gambling needs.
