so for the active loan, the user kovaa somehow managed to get a .1 BTC loan from gelbstich with no collateral? seems the loan was not repaid:

looks like kovaa is trying to sell off his account to make a bit of extra pocket change to me, while scamming that .1 as well.

If he don't pay back the second loan with account collateral then who will pay back the first pending loan?

Also he didn't mentioned any thing about pending loan when he requested second one today. It shows he is clearing scamming the both lenders.

He won't be banned.  This is what the trust system is for.  I doubt he'll be able to scam anymore with his feedback.

This is obviously speculation, however has anyone considered that the borrower defaulted on the first loan and the lender took possession/ownership of the collateral and has potentially disposed of such collateral?

I would find it highly unlikely that a lender is going to be naive enough to accept an account as collateral for a loan and then not make sure the account is secured either by themselves or an escrow prior to funding the loan...
