To become a successful trader, you also need to have commitment, patience and decision making capability, if any of these traits are missing in you and you have the knowledge only, then that knowledge will not be able to save you from the looses. I have no issues with anyone Quitting the trade, but if you are quitting the trade because of the fear of loss, or because of any other fear, then you should not have chosen it at first place.

It all depends on the choice and preferences of the person who is having bitcoin in his wallet. If you are having a good knowledge about trading, then there is nothing to be worried about. You can for sure make a very good amount of money by doing trading as trading is the most profitable job to do but at the same time, it is quite a risky thing to do as well. Yes that’s true, but as for this guy, he’s probably going to end trading without profit. Imagine Investing 47 BTC and ending up with only 40 BTC, real bad! Really bad. Well, it depends mate but as for his trading explanation he have no time to make daily trades so it was good for him to trade with good long term alts in the future maybe he stops and he loss because of investing in a wrong altcoins or selling at loss.

Well trading needs time, but for me if you want to hold we don't need to spend all our time. my free time is enough for me. All we need is monitor the price of the coin we have and i think it doesn't mean that we need to focus and give all the time we have.

I think that a real trader has a strong enough dependence on trade, so I do not think it's that easy to quit and go. It was not the first time that they said that trade is very similar to gambling.

Donating money is good but only up to a certain amount and only if we have achieve our goal of financial success.

Trading cryptocurrencies are really for the people who are tough emotionally and are more patient enough than anybody else. When you are emotionally weak, you tend to sell even at a negative gain because you are too afraid that the price will continue to go down.

Definitely, you cannot make a good decision if you are weak because the emotion inside will make you foolish.
Whales are smart people, they love to move the market to cause panic, and if you are one of the weak hands, in the end you'll regret because the price will back up and you miss the opportunity to sell for a profit.

I support what you said. But there is a problem of when whales will try to make a move. The market is still small enough to see the market depths but it is difficult to predict when price will change it's course.

I have calculated all my trades on the various platforms i have used in the last couple years.

Deposited: 47BTC (roughly)

Withdrew: 40BTC (roughly)

Overall i am happy with the results, i would pay 7 BTC anyday for what i have learned so far.

Now the question is: what the fuck do i do now with my money.

Knowing that you are having a big amount of bitcoin after trading for sure is an awesome experience. Since you were about to quit trading then I would say nothing about your decision because based on you post, it seems that you already achieved your goals of having enough money. It's fun knowing that your problem for now is what will you do with your money and I would advise you to reward yourself by doing the things you want to do or do some business to make living for the preparation in the future.

Trading has a season.  You cannot just trade anytime,  any day,  any month and hold and expect profit. Make sure you dont trade and hold in a bearish period.  Look what happened to your 47btc became 40btc. Swing trade is the only possible way to survive with the bear.

Rules and patterns are not always going to turn up as we might have planned them. Managing losses is an easy thing to say, but very very difficult to follow as we are only human. Therefore, trading might not be for everyone, but long-term investing can be.

You are correct - long term investing with god quality altcoins is really almost good to all but day trade can be very stressful and it is not really advisable and won't work to all.

Swing trading on the other hand is something that is more relaxed and could up your investment profits. I wouldn't use my whole portfolio for that though.

Trading is quite a different thing and it is not an easy thing to get into trading. There comes number of occasions when you suffer loss not only particularly in trading but in any other business as well. If you are not well in trading, then it is better not to do trading. Instead, you should take a break and then start again with new motivation. This will help you in having better results.

You know yourself very well, if you are not good in day trading then you should focus on long term investment.
Holding bitcoin is very profitable, just check on the trend and you will be convince that for 1 year it has bring great return to long term investors already, I know this will not consistently happen from year to year but let's make our hopes high and continue to believe as there is a time that bitcoin will reach our target.
