But statistically...the chances, that it won't is probably much much bigger and probable.

Lets say you're patient in the gamble dude. then does that change the magnitude of the chances you'll win? such as on dice that I think almost entirely of luck takes over the possibility of winning. if you're profit on this day and then you stop and you're patient and play again in the next day, will that make you sure to win?

So if in the short term, gambling can be profitable, but in the long run it can not be unless your luck likes you.

Well it's not purely skill and knowledge since sometimes there are events that people don't usually expects especially on Sports betting. For example is the bouts of an underdog, usually the most popular one is the one whose getting a lot of bets to his win.

Yeah, I agree that gambling can not be profitable.
Even that possible outcomes is just between win or lose, we can never tell if we will win or lose. Wasting money in gambling is no assurance that your capital will be doubled.

As far as I remembered, I played throwing php 1 in a table that have lot a of squares on it. At first, its kinda enjoying I won 5 consecutively. But I didn't stop playing so at the end of the day I lose all the price I won even my budget in playing.

So i think in the long term, if you dont have discipline it will not become profitable. And we cant always rely on luck, because it is not guaranteed that will last.

Yes that's why I say gambling can be profitable but only in the short term, and not profitable in the long run. There are losers and there is a winning moment of gambling, but we have to accept the fact that we lose more often than win. That is what underlies my statement.

From my view if a person is able to increase the winning percentage of a game above 50% and follow this strategy strictly which gives them an edge comparing to the gambling den, it is very possible to make a living out of it but i does not think it is easy if so who will still want to work? All people will just gamble to earn money.
