Hello community

Our new asset name is "XQNPOSFUND" and it's available to trade on Counterparty platform now. Counterparty is a platform for peer-to-peer markets we only use as an exchange platform, we don't own it.
Since the new asset is trade able on a decentralized exchange, it is hard to keep track on the asset owners.
The easier way that we can correct with is to create another XQN token as the weekly XQN payout on Counterparty.
The XQN token you will able to use buys additional new assets (if any sellers) if you want to buy or sell.
Each XQN token will be backed up by actual XQN coin, has a dedicated address will have same amount of Token vs XQN to store until redeemed.
The XQN token will be able to sell for BTC on counterparty platform or exchange back to XQN  if you want.
To redeem your XQNTOKEN for XQN coin, BURN your XQNTOKEN on this adress: 11ParticipantsXXXXXXXXXXXXXUGmPx6
IMPORTANT BEFORE BURNING
Before you can burn your tokens, send me a pm here or email the amount you intend to burn and your XQN address for payout.

This will be done manually until we can move to our own system.
The first distribution has been done, and 190.000 XQN is ready for conversion.

If you sell them on counterparty platform, you can chose your payment as i understand it (btc,Xcp or any counterparty asset)
We will open a OTC thread, where XQN is base pair vs XQNPOSFUND.
In theory when all markets are stable, the XQNTOKEN should have same price as XQN coin itself, as there is a set value in 1:1 XQNTOKEN to XQN.
Who will buy them?
Those who want other trading options than regular centralized exchanges, or XQNPOSFUND if price is lower than on regular exchanges.

I've added a couple postings on my blog to help support the Quotient coin and started a Pinterest board.  It is my hope that the board can be used to promote the coin and encourage new users to get interested in the coin as well as a place for information and perhaps the crowd sourcing small projects.  Please read the posts if your interested.  My intention is that this will work both as a type of giveaway and to help pay for the work required to promote the coin.  Feedback is welcomed.

(There was no transaction narration) I can already see that it will be best to use the encrypted messages to send detailed information if people wish to post links associated with specific addresses on the Pinterest board since the transaction inputs can come from multiple addresses.  I'll rewrite some details on my post on building value shortly.

I went ahead and made a new lightsplasher fork on github and intend to add a short update that adds a “total” to the selected records from the transaction register.  This code comes from presstab in the Hyperstake project I believe.  I can make a pull request to the main code branch once I'm done, however, it seems like the illustrious Cedric Profit has lost a bit of interest in maintaining things at this point. 

I'm willing to merge any code branches from the community into my branch but I'm not intending to release any binaries at this point.

Moving forward I feel it is in the best interest of the community to have a trusted developer or someone well vested in the coin or other business built on reputation to compile the source code and distribute new releases – do we have a trusted way to make a new release?  Some coin communities have experienced problems so I would advise caution.

Additionally, I've thought about trying to open up the news feed and video content page in the wallet to allow the public to post content there and earn tips.  There would need to be some way to vote off Spam content and vote up good content.  Each address having a minimum value could be eligible to cast a vote, perhaps one vote per address containing at least 1000 XQN.  What do you think of this idea in general, any concerns or suggestions?

I'm just throwing this out there without having studied the code much, I'm not sure what can be done or even what the community is interested in doing at this point so I'm open to discussion.

Thank you, very nice initiative.
We are not working on wallet code at all atm, but on our service platform on top of XQN.
The things we did want to change with wallet/coin is:
Re enable pow, with a cpu friendly algo. (axiom memhash)
Merge mine and use tx fees as pow reward.
Increase tx fees, and include some staking tools like multisend from Presstab and other tools desired by community.
We do have a trusted compiler, but not time to work on those aspects now.
The service platform and its features are more important right now, and also regaining trust so we get more users.
Our service platform will be useless if we do not have users/stakers/traders/community.
About enabling in wallet news feeds with rewards for providing info, this is absolutely something we would want to do.
If you are interested in contributing, this is very appreciated and pm me for communication options.
