I went ahead and made a new lightsplasher fork on github and intend to add a short update that adds a “total” to the selected records from the transaction register. This code comes from presstab in the Hyperstake project I believe. I can make a pull request to the main code branch once I'm done, however, it seems like the illustrious Cedric Profit has lost a bit of interest in maintaining things at this point.  I'm willing to merge any code branches from the community into my branch but I'm not intending to release any binaries at this point. Moving forward I feel it is in the best interest of the community to have a trusted developer or someone well vested in the coin or other business built on reputation to compile the source code and distribute new releases – do we have a trusted way to make a new release? Some coin communities have experienced problems so I would advise caution. Additionally, I've thought about trying to open up the news feed and video content page in the wallet to allow the public to post content there and earn tips. There would need to be some way to vote off Spam content and vote up good content. Each address having a minimum value could be eligible to cast a vote, perhaps one vote per address containing at least 1000 XQN. What do you think of this idea in general, any concerns or suggestions? I'm just throwing this out there without having studied the code much, I'm not sure what can be done or even what the community is interested in doing at this point so I'm open to discussion. I think its a good idea if it can be implemented without a security risk or slowing down the wallet. |

The distribution you refer to is a "secret" mini giveaway we are doing and not to be confused with our Asset fund distribution. 1000 XQN to 15 first to post here, preferably with your opinion on our project. Good and bad feedback are welcome. If you still hold and stake after 2 weeks, i will give 5000XQN extra to each. Dont for get to set up the wallet for staking. You need to put a few coins in each address.Not sure of the exact amount(around 300)(maybe someone else can help out with the exact amount) but im sure there is a "how to in the OP" and turn on Auto optimize In the wallet. I think it's the little plus sign in the wallet. Hope that helps. |

I am still downloading the blockchain to start staking, it's taking a long time 2 days downloading reached 30% I have very slow connection or the blockchain is really big.

It shouldnt take so long, it could be slow internet as you indicate. I will get a bootstrap, or uppload the needed folders but not sure this would help if the issue is internet speed. The positive side, your coins is already maturing, and will be ready to stake when you get synced. There will be presented staking solutions when we have them ready, theese solutions will be very beneficial for small stakers. Happy staking! IW |

I am not using the auto optimize, but i set desired block size in options and let it run. Smaller blocks takes longer to stake, but the % is better. What is your best staking strategy? Happy staking!
