What is Smith Janifer's facebook profile link? Based on the name alone, it sounds like a fake name/account therefore I would find it unlikely that any additional information can be determined from it.

Google it  Roll Eyes https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=132626 , as to OP I wouldn't jump to conclusions. From where did you get a message to join a scam, AFAIK someone needs to send you a friend request and you have to accept it. And even if your scam accusation is true, what purpose will this thread serve concerning FB? You should directly link the scam site you are talking about. And my guess is someone was either searching about bitcoin related groups and got to your profile or you got phished/hacked.

More details? Like a link to this "Smith Janifer" here on the forum or the doubling scam site URL, BTC address they wanted you to send to, anything?

Next time just go along with it and gather more details, then post here. It might at least force them into buying a new domain, setting up a new facebook profile and all that. Waste their time like they wasted your time.

You missed the first part of what he said: can you give us more info on the scam site? I think Facebook allows anyone to message anyone (but I'm not completely familiar with how Facebook works) so it might be that, but most probably you're right.
