this was a suprise i must say Nadal lost to his countryman Verdasco in five sets, i sure was hopping to see Nadal in at least semis but seem like this year will be awful for him

A great surprise indeed. I too thought it was a sure shot match of Nadal. This is the type of game where people go broke. Thank god I didn't placed any bet of Nadal today.  
Victoria Azarenka was my bet today and won just like that.

I think Victoria is a legend, and even bigger legend is Nadal. But the difference basically was Verdasco was in form and Nadal is not not in such a form. You see Victoria crushed her opponent 6-0 , 6-0 .. she is inspired and I see her into finals easily.

I have found a bet, with some nice value to it, in the 3rd round of Australian Open between Dominic Thiem and David Goffin.

The 2 young players has faced each other 6 times since 2014. Goffin has had the upper hand winning 4 times, and only losing 2. Theim, on the other hand, has won their last 2 meets. Thiem did reach the semifinals in Brisbane but did lose against Roger Federer with 6-1 and 6-4.
Goffin, on the other hand, lost over the course of 3 sets against Poullie, which indeed was a disappointment. Thiem has not been playing at his best in this tournament, and with 2 almost equally good players, I do find great value in this bet

Goffin Is good but nothing exceptional about him.. He's very much a less athletic version of Andy Murray but still really good.. He can beat a top 10 player once in a while but I dont expect hit to do it regularly.. He is a good player no doubt but the top 5 are on a different level nadal is the only one who seems to be slipping up but hopefully he picks it up from here on.!

Yeah, Goffin is a good player, but unfortunately, the top players in the world seem to be too hard to knock off as of now. I must admit, though, I'm quite biased with him, I don't really know why I do like about him, he just seems as a good player of course, but also as a good person.
About Nadal, only time can tell!
