Vikhlyantseva N. vs Shvedova Y. match to happen in Russia(St. Petersburg Open) odds on Vikhlyantseva N. is 1.72x and I think she will win the match as she has been in a very good form and playing in her home country this time. Shvedova have been struggling to find form and has lost 4 of her last 5 matches and I expect her to struggle once again.

Congrats to Federer on his 18 Grans slam title, but reading some articles that lot of tennis legend are pissed on Federer move in 5th set. He ask medical time out to gain some strength and this what they all say was bad move, but cant blame on him cuz it legal.

Anyway this was good match but after favorites were kicked i was hopping to see this final.

I'm watching Kalashnikova/Krunic vs Plipuech/Lee Y-H. Plipuech/Lee took the first set but Kalashnikova/Krunic were looking strong in the end of first they started off slow and hence were trailing. Bet on Kalashnikova to win the 2nd or the match. It should be easy pickings for the odds we are getting.

If any player takes time out the both player will get rest am I right? Then how can only Federer gain some strength in that time out? And yes it is legal they have rights to take a medical time out. Anyhow the game was very entertaining I enjoyed a lot what I was expected that I got in this match. Both players put 100% effort, but finally, the best performer won the title. congrats to Federer.

Roger Federer is a goat. At this age and he is still winning major trophies. He has shown that age is just a number and kudos to Nadal as well, even after a long injury he is still a formidable opponent. Nadal is still a force to reckon with and he should never give up. Congrats to Serena as well. Its a nice way to top off his engagement.

Nice to see the old times is coming back, the top players are in top 10 lists. I think in coming series we may see a lot of variations in top 10 positions. But Djokovic needs more time to reach the first position. The 3rd position competition is very high. If Nadal maintained this form, he may reach 3rd position very soon. Even I am also waiting to see these names in top 4 places.

Venus Williams needs to play better, because most gamblers would have placed betting upon the odds of her. Mladenovic seems to progress in the match after winning the first set, she hopes to win the second set too as she leads 2-o in the second set right now.

Nadal will move up this season for sure if he continues to play how he is playing . I just hope he will be in top 3 by the end of this year since there isn't much difference in points and as we all know Nishikori /Wawrinka are easier to beat than Nadal so he just have to be fit and play all the tournaments .

It was the final I wanted, Rafa Nadal vs Roger Federer, what a classic match, unfortunately I lost money because I went for a Nadal win, but at least I had fun watching the match, you can't always win... it was really close.

Considering Rafa is still 30 and Federer is 35, it proves Rafa has at least 5 more years to become number 1 again with realistic possibilities.

Well yeah many would have gone for Nadal to win the match as he was in ultimate form ( Better when compared to Federer ) but Roger just gave his 100% and luck favored him many times but it was one hell of a match and a fantastic final . Happy for Roger and as you said Nadal still has time , I am sure he will get to top soon.

Although this one is old, but still worth talking about, The Federer/Nadal one was a beauty, I've been on Nadal FT as well but it was fun watching these two legends playing it back and forth, that match could never end with less than 5 sets!

On a more recent note, Petkovic did lose in Pet this morning lol, Why is russia causing so much drama?

I too lost as I went for Nadal. As said Federer proved his ability in the third set how things could change in a while. Only the experience that took him to a successful winning. Rafael Nadal played well, but leading the final set 3-0 and losing the set is something which is out of his control.

Dunno why did you place Japan here but this year i give best chances for win for Swiss and Spain this year. Argentina or Serbia might come to semis but if the somehow go trough final then i will give them bigger chances unless they somehow end playing each other in final.

6 argentina

Dunno why did you place Japan here but this year i give best chances for win for Swiss and Spain this year. Argentina or Serbia might come to semis but if the somehow go trough final then i will give them bigger chances unless they somehow end playing each other in final.
No way Japan can win the Davis cup as Nishikori is the only good player in the team . Swiss , Spain,Serbia , England ( Because of Murray and Daniel Evans who is playing good nowadays ) and ofcourse Argentina all are capable of lifting the trophy.

I can understand why Japan has been rated highly by him. Kei Nishikori has been in decent form and can take the team through. He has decent team support as well but I think the seeding is too high. England should be above them for sure.

Luckily I didn't gamble a lot of money on the match. It's also really interesting to look forward for more Federer performances. He is 35 already and rich as hell, has demonstrated that he can still win major tournaments, so we will see if he has the motivation to keep playing at top level.
