bitpaying.com launched about a month ago, and I decided to sign up. Because why not, I've got cash I can afford to lose if it doesn't work out. I deposited $50 into their "1.5% for 90 days" plan, and for a while, it went alright. I was apparently earning about .75 cents a day, and I could request withdrawals of .75 to 3.00 USD, usually having them fulfilled the next day. Even live chat works, and with human operators happy to answer any question I have!

Well, Sept. 9 was the last time that worked.  Since then, while my apparent earning have been continuing to increase, NONE of my withdrawal requests have been fulfilled. Live chat has ALWAYS been offline, resulting in a form where you can put your contact info and questions to email them. Tried to email them about my problem, no response. Nothing. I suspect they're giving you back a little bit of your own money over a long period of time, then pocketing the rest.

Was this just another HYIP? For a while, it didn't seem that way. But it's been about a month now. Stay away from this site!

Most likely it's a HYIP and I won't be surprised if the website shows up as a parked domain in a few days. Can I ask how much money you withdrew until September 9th?

Also, I did a quick search on Google and here's a website that also caught onto the fact that they stopped payments. http://www.azhyipmonitor.com/hyip_bit_paying.html

I withdrew a total of $15.06 in BTC.

My address is 1F41UU4L45koXEFsj1pXogBoCYHd3zGLC8 - The transactions coming from G7GiaP4xLdBLCCoz271s7xJtYUcAuhu7m are bitpaying withdraws.

I'm kind of grateful I had to go through this - it teaches lessons the hard way to look for scams and how to avoid them. Ah well.

HYIP's are easy to detect. They always have "plans", like "up to 500$, 90 days, 75%", they use shady Russian paypal-like processors such as Payeer and Perfect Money. Now they use Bitcoin as well.
