Why people dump their Bitcoins ?

the main reason for falling bitcoin prices is because of negative news, or people no longer believe in bitcoin. there is also because there are people or institutions that sell very large amounts of bitcoin so the price falls very deep. I do not really like bitcoin at playing the price just for a moment profit, I buy and save for investment and not for speculation, but high bitcoin prices more much because of speculative motives

Many people want to take and make bitcoin dump on price, many of them want to make bitcoin price on the low to take great chance to buy and invest their money in bitcoin. they want to make much profit if bitcoin on the low price, its why they want to make bitcoin at low price. We have always find they make news fake and negative information about bitcoin to take chance bitcoin at low price and buy as much money they have.

I personally (and this is just my opinion) that it's more panic then simply his need of money or something else, as we saw on the BitcoinXT last time, people started to panic and simply sold their bitcoins and that caused a drop in the price.

Some people choose to throw away or sell the Bitcoin they have because the price of Bitcoin is falling and they do not want to hold it for too long for fear of falling prices. So the conclusion they take is to sell Bitcoin as soon as possible. Though it is only detrimental to themselves and make the price of Bitcoin fall.

Very plainly, they doubt that Bitcoin can actually recover. I mean some people see crypto currencies as a way to have an income. Others, actually see crypto currencies as a way to universalize exchanges and make it stable. So, whenever there's dips happening, the former sells their coins to save their investments and the latter buys more to stabilize the market to save their investments.

Of course they have a goal when dump bitcoin, and of course they hope to buy at a cheap price, I've heard the news that that makes negative news about bitcoin are bitcoin millionaires because they expect the price drop and they can buy cheaply.

for smart people it's all about taking profits and trying to create panic sellers to sell their coins. others are just scared or simply don't know at what price to sell, so they sell anyway to reduce their loss.

Well, what I've seen based on my friend's experience, it is somehow related to "panicking" also.

After I introduced cryptocurrency (bitcoin to be more specific) to my friend, he decided to buy some small amount of btc and hodl it. That's what I adviced him to do since it's now hard to make at least jr. Member account and join signature campaigns here, investing in HYIPs are risky and claiming in btc faucets is just a waste of time. But one day while I asking him about his savings, he suddenly told me that he now already converted his btc into peso. He said that he felt afraid after looking to down lines on the graph and just did it, maybe because he can't stand a big dip (the time where btc almost reach $8200).

Though already explained to him that fluctuations are normal in this field, I can't still blame him for doing that because i understand that he's just a beginner.

In addition, I think people choose to dump their coins because for them that's the best time to do so (like what happened before the end of 2017). They are already satisfied to the profit they could get and no longer hesitate because they might miss that great opportunity.

Yeah, because they were new in cryptocurrency that's why they are easily to get panic the hard fork appears in bitcoin market. And sometimes because of some certain bad news suddenly appears were focusing criticized bitcoin is one of the fact where make bitcoin drops it value and those new investors were easily get affected on that.

I think because a lot of people needs to pay their bills. That's why they're surrender all their bitcoins.
If most of them surrender their bitcoin, the price of the bitcoin will become more lower.

Maybe the person wants to switch to a new coin and needs the funds so dump bitcoin in order to buy a new coins. The result certainly makes bitcoin price to be cheap but there is a rising other coin price that may occur for that reason.

I think right now nobody will dump bitcoin because everyone in any crevice of this world has heard about the value of bitcoin now.So to just dump it,I bet to differ that people now value bitcoin a lot.They will rather hold than to just dump their bitcoin.Maybe some altcoins maybe dumped but not bitcoin itself.

In my opinion its because people think the value of bitcoin is going down and down. That  makes people sell their bitcoin in lowest price.

Maybe because they are afraid that their investment will lose its value, that's why before it happens, they will sell their bitcoin as long as they have a small profit from it. Unfortunately, this reason makes the price to fall down as it decreases the demand. we all know that if the supply is higher than the demand, the price will get lower as expected.

Actually people do not intend to dump their bitcoin, I'm sure the main factor that makes them sell bitcoin because of the many negative news about bitcoin, for example a few ago that said that all countries agreed to bitcoin banned, it turns out it is false news but it has a big impact for users.

But Im sure there is only 1/100 out there dump his bitcoin and walk away. But for those who understand the system of bitcoin prefer to stay no matter what.

People dump or sell thier bitcoins due to many reasons..some of these reasons are panic--Some people lose patience watching the price of bitcoin drop and they just got panic enough to sell thier coins and walk away and thus just dropping the price of bitcoins little more...Another reason is loss of trust in bitcoins..People also dump bitcoins when they hear a lot of scam going around by people related to bitcoins stealing etc and people think that bitcoin network isnt secure so they sell and walk away

Bitcoin investor can sell out their Bitcoin anytime they want,that's their choices. For what ever reason they own their Bitcoin share and they can do what ever for the said share of Bitcoin. Some investor in trading market on crypto currency can practice the simple principle in Trading "Buy low and sell High".But some other reasons maybe a personal one, lost interest on trading of Bitcoin, lost of trust on Bitcoin or lost confidence on the said project, no time to trade, and there is a lot more can be attributed to that. One thing we can sure of of his action, something individual choices for as long as we are not affected by his action, we can just wonder why?
