Do you guys knows what happened to the site cloudthink.io in the last i don't know what happened to them as i was not coming/active on the forum from last few months.
I know first they are providing some kind of mining power but when some people claimed they don't have equipment or something like that they started to sell used equipments on there site with some other services.
Can anyone explain what happened to them?

If I remember right , they was claiming that they got hacked , then after few days/weeks or something someone came to the forums selling their Database for 0.5 BTC and some people actually bought it because it's so big and since some people use same ID & pass for diferent website they got screwed on their Bitcointalk forums accounts & their social media website aswell .

No, you're thinking of Cloudminr.io.
CloudThink was an ambitious scam run by incompetents that started off selling cloud mining that wasn't cloud mining, then posed as a farm selling off S5's dirt cheap, then invented a vaperware machine called "Impersonator" or some such.
Burnt their seed money and ran away.

What should be happened to these types of site. Offcourse Cloudthink went scam too. Many peoples already knows and feel suspicous about it before also. Owner must have made a good profit with this scam and run away with peoples money.

I think it's fair to chalk that up as a win for this forum, without us kicking their ass they would have stolen a lot more money.

They turned out to be less than honest.

What a surprise! A cloudmining site being dishonest and running away with people's money!

Someone should make a list of all of the cloudmining site scams, then we would just copy and paste this list as a response every time someone would even start talking about the cloudmining.

Maybe this would make people quit messing with cloudmining.

This is still a useful thread, not completely up to date, but certainly gives an idea about what to look for and how few 'legit' operations there ave been compared to scams

Payout already stopped few days ago Sad

I believe it was a little more than a few days ago.

Maybe this would make people quit messing with cloudmining.

I'm not sure what positive effect that would have. People are naturally stupid and would just keep pursuing cloud mining stuff regardless of how many websites were busted as scams.
