Wow!! that's true, depending on where we live, living in where I live and having an income  as big as 4-5 bitcoin a month would make me live with the lifestyle of the rich and famous..

It will differ from country to country, but here is a list of minimum wages by country : https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_minimum_wages_by_country With this I am not saying that it is a survivable income, but you can take that as a guideline. Most currencies are depicted in US $ and the Minimum wage is shown in Annual / Workweek / Hourly and Percent of GDP per capita. You will just need to change it to Bitcoin to see if you are still within the minimum wage for your country and how many coins you would need to survive and for how long. ^smile^

It differs according to the country as well the price of bitcoin. With the recent days price it is easy to make living with 1bitcoin for a month. The living is not a luxurious one, but with a some sort of comfort.

for living 1 btc every month in my Country is quite enough. 400 $ = 988 GEL when the average salary is 250-300 GEL

Here also in my country 1 btc converted to 20,000 Philippine Peso is enough to live a family with 2 kids. However because of economy's crisis somehow it is sufficient.

1.5 bitcoin are more than enough to live humble here around  $600 current rates.
With $500 capital to trade altcoin and bitcoin I only earn 0.5 bitcoin per month steady plus from signature campaign 0.16 average sum , plus trade some digital stuff total I earn around 0.8 monthly,  not bad.

This is really too much to spend 250 bitcoin within a month, at my country to make a living are need somewhere between 2-4 bitcoins depending on the people's needs.

I think the question would be more about what is ROI for investment to get bitcoins and make a living with that.

The approach would be:
- Invest your time to do some real work and get paid by bitcoins, and then exchanged to any currency you can make a living in your place.
- Invest your money to get miners running and get rewarded by bitcoins.
- Invest your money to trading place and get rewarded by bitcoins or money.

All of above are at your own risks.  Grin

Based upon the location the number differs. For a living in third world countries 2bitcoin is more than enough. Better option is not to sell for living. Its better to save for the future.

2 bitcoin a month is too much in where I live, I would be living the life of rich and famous if I would be having 2 bitcoins a month..It would not be a better option not to sell your coins if bitcoin is the way for you to earn for a living..

About 12 bitcoins a month would scratch me about even. Have a lot of bills and a mortgage to contend with.

I have to earn at least 3 bitcoin per month. I sell 2,5 btc and hold the othe half. And this is living in short, because I would need at least more two per month to live a really wealthy life.

That's a lot of money, i can buy what I want with that earnings every month and I can start a business if I can earn like that '12 btc' a month.

Is it even possible to make a living by selling bitcoins?

Not to be rude but that's a really silly question, you can make money selling anything. But i think you ment to rather ask "how do you live off bitcoin" just like any other way of making money although bitcoin has made things alot easier for us all and opened up a world of new opportunity to make money thinking outside the box and making online business safer and fast. Also trading in altcoins is really fun and lucrative but not easy.

Back when bitcoins were worth almost $1200, it could have been a lot easier. Now that it is worth around $420, you might need a few a month, or depending on how much you are looking to make.

That's true, with today's price, we might need bigger amount of bitcoin to sell to make a just enough simple living... 1 bitcoin a month is good enough to me, but might be different or lower to others, so it really depends on your goal in life..

It is very possible. But you need a lot of bitcoin and you have to be trusted.
Since still many people didn't know about bitcoin, you need more extra energy to explain what is bitcoin to other people.
