For 1 Bitcoin to be worth $1,000,000, the total market cap of Bitcoin would have to be $21 trillion dollars. What are the odds of this happening?
For reference, the amount of physical $dollars and coins in circulation are around $1.2 trillion. The global M2 money supply of all currencies are around $45 trillion. The market cap of all mined gold is around $7 trillion.
Will 1 Bitcoin be worth a million dollars? Half a million? Thoughts?
We really need a big amount of demand from users to reach that amount. And to achieve such demand we need a billion of bitcoin subscribers to circulate the coin.

Even if there are billions of users, Bitcoin would need to constitute 1/3 of total global money supply for that to happen. That does sound like it is asking for too much.

Exactly, but it would be good to imagine that unrealistic projection to happen, as a newbie we can use this to lure them to invest in bitcoin to get more adoption that would help the community increase its volume.

I wish to see that happen but it seems like it was just a fantasy, although that is good but too unrealistic for me. I would already be happy even if I will see only a price of $10,000.

I agree, but 10'000 seems a bit low for me. Something like 30'000$ would be more realistic if mass adoption occurs. But we are still way too pessimistic for some people

That price is so impossible because if that happens i think it will last for just seconds because many users will sell all their coins like crazy. But let be honest even hundred years or thousands it will be so impossible for bitcoin to reach that because after more or less hundred years bitcoin will abandoned because of the mining difficulty is extremely high.

The $1 Million Dollar Bitcoin will be seen in 20 to 50 year's time. It depends on the continuous development of bitcoin.

It could happen I think but that time the value of $1 million dollars will not be the same value as today, the figures does not really count but the value is really important when it comes to valuation of money.

The million Dollar Bitcoin does not exist and I do not believe that it ever is going to be created because it just does not make sense. If the price was a million Dolar then all the users would sell there coins I am sure of that.

It would be really something if the Bitcoin price was at $1,000,000 but we know that that is not going to happen because it just does not seem possible. I am already fine with the price ending up somewhere in the thousands.

But let me guess you can't right?! So you're just speculating like anybody else. I say it's possible to reach 6-7 figures per bitcoin! But do I know for sure? Definitely not!And I can not deliver facts!

The future will be great but will not reach $1 million.

I doubt if it will goes up to a million dollar worth of a bitcoin. I am not underestimating bitcoin but for it to reach that amount it would take a lot of things, circumstances to happen. The value could reach to more than what the price is from now. But since many cryptocurrency are now available in the market today, some will invest on coins that still have a low price. And wait for it to reach the price of the bitcoin today.

LOL! That's too ambitious, we are still in the young stage now and we cannot get the public to fully adopt bitcoin yet, the government will win and fiat will rule, bitcoin is just an alternate currency and we should be contented with that as anything beyond is so dangerous for us.
