What's stopping people from using bitcoin?

I think volatility and how the media covers it is one reason allot of people are not joining bitcoin, You all remember the news when bitcoin fall in value "Bitcoin losing half of it's value" etc etc... Also the lack of motivation to try something new, You need some new advantages to attract people I think.

It's good for btc to make it popular, if more people will be interested then more will use it. Even news like this better then nothing. At my opinion it's good for btc's

I think the volatility is one of the reasonsa why mainstream adoption has not completely happened but the volatility is in part because of the way the people use the market and can't say completely it is not the fault of those using the market...

yeah because of fluctuations in the price of many people who are not interested in bitcoin. they call that fluctuations can halve your money. and you will lose. lol but traders favor it?

The price isn't fluctuating much at all. It is staying in the $400-430 range, and has done so since the start of the year. It's fluctuating less than the dollar or the yen or other major currencies.

yes. that time so many people stopped using bitcoin. but when bitcoin price increased again and achieve 400$. then so many people started using bitcoin again also and so many poeple started bitcoin who didn't used it before. that's the good part of bitcoin I think.

Everyone has the choice which route. if one can buy a product comfortable with fiat or card, s/he can go ahead and do it. for some people though, anonymity is an issue.

Many people stop when they lose a lot of money. And that is quite logic. But the reason is that they sold it to early or they bought it to high.
Its better to wait longer and wait if the price is going to rise. Than you can have later some profit.

I guess that is a no way to stop. Risk will always be there when trading it. That should be considered whenever you're doing that. Getting up and earning back what is lost is the solution for this.

when looking at things financially, it should be what is encouraging people to use bitcoin rather than what is stopping them, there is currently few reasons to use it but none of them are related to the general population, if there are discounts on using bitcoin it would encourage people to use it.

difficult to bitcoin can be stabilized it means only will fewer people will join. because the fluctuation is the original nature of bitcoin and will continue to stick to the bitcoin

They will stop with Bitcoin if they lose a lot of money so that is bad. And than they will realize it is all wasted money.
But it is actually too late, because they lost already a lot of money and that is not good. So people must know that there are risks.

The same I have felt with people while describing about our bitcoin. Such thinking will fade off when bitcoin is used by people who are not much into technology.

Probably the lack of motivation, People don't do things for no reason at all, There is currently no motivation to use bitcoin generally and as soon as there is  a positive stimulation "like discounts etc..." people would use it.

nope I think the fluctuation does not make people stop using bitcoin. even they can profit from bitcoin fluctuations. even many people liked fluctuations including me. if the fluctuations disappear and bitcoin price becomes stable. I am sure many traders out of the bitcoin ?

I think the only way that people stop using bitcoin i think is if they know bitcoin is scam or they are scam in investment or cloudmining site. thats why they are stopping using it.. people want to have profits or to earn money day by day online but if they experience about bitcoin currency after investing their bitcoin in any investment site or any site that turn into scam. they think that bitcoin is scam so its better to stop using it..
But the truth is they know how bitcoin is.. too many distruction in online about bitcoin mostly for investment site its a bad image for bitcoin thats why users of bitcoin is decreasing..
