People are still used to using physical money (fiat) than digital money.
There's still a lot of people that having a hard time using computer,if they cant use a computer, how will they use bitcoin?
With fiat, you could just give the money and boom, transaction done.
You think people will never learn about technology such as using computer or their smartphone to send / receive money? This is 2016 and technology growing very rapidly , as did users. That matter will not stopping people from using bitcoin. |

Some people is stopping bitcoin of using it, because they just afraid to lose there money and they don't know how to use it. That is why the new generation is better for them to use bitcoin and lack of business adoption is also the reason for it. Yeah, the main issue is lack of awareness and knowledge among the people and that is the reason they prefer to stay away from bitcoins, as they have a fear of loosing their money in long term. |

Economy today still depends upon fiat, and mostly, fiat is controlled by banks, and some banks are owned by the government, and government always want control over things around it, so there is only small chance for the bitcoin to bloom and be known by every man in this world... government has no control over bitcoin that is why there is little to no promotion about it in common people...
That's true and i think that's the real reason that many official marketplaces and great companies online still not supporting Bitcoin till now |

i think the biggest thing is the lack of places to spend bitcoin.
nobody hesitates on using credit cards or even in using online payment processors like Paypal because there is countless places that you can use those things but bitcoin is not the same.
if all those places that has paypal add bitcoin too then bitcoin usage is going to change for sure.

Nowadays there is a lot of marketplaces and ewallets supporting Bitcoin already, but you are right because Paypal for example still used and supported a lot more than Bitcoin till now, and i think this will change with time |

1. already loss a lot with bitcoin
2. loosing from hacker or getting scam
3. not interest anymore
I thought to number 1 and 2 are very similar. it is not possible to make someone stop using bitcoin for the long term. I know it would make a sad and make us despair. but not long after they would have to rise. because he could find bitcoin again with very easily. |

That is really true, i also think that if bitcoin gets accepted everywhere like paypal or some other payment processors like that then it's users will also increase and people will start using bitcoin as well like paypal or all other payment processors. |

I think the biggest turn off would be the volatility of it all. No one wants to wake up everyday having to worry about their coins turning to dust. We need the banks to back the blockchain.

Yeah I think that's true but the major reason would be the price volatility I guess, as people find it more fluctuating and are not sure what would be the value tomorrow, so they just ignore to get into in it. |
