People are eager for new things but bitcoin got a bad name because of the media. It's wrong but that's the way it is.
I guess bitcoin needs to proof itself once again.
You are right, media had made a bad concept in people's mind about bitcoin that it is not good used by criminals this and that, and i think now bitcoin need some time to prove itself to the world, and the world should also give it some time to prove itself and become more popular then usual, and it will do it, people will surely start using it once it comes out in countries and accepted by some places. |

Well, but the media has attracted more 'bad people' to use Bitcoin since they give a 'bad name' to our Bitcoin. There is no need for Bitcoin to prove itself, people just need to use their brain and don't trust every piece of the media words. +1 for this, all the news about bitcoin only elaborate about scam, ponzi, and crime. not the good side of it and people who never use it believe what those media wrote.. Yeah those media are really trying to put down bitcoin but they will have to do a better job and bring up also the good news that bitcoin can bring to the economy. the trend has been changing lately it is not like before any more, especially in other countries except USA. the media and the government has been more accepting towards bitcoin in some countries for example Japan is considering announcing bitcoin as a real currency. Over here in the UK the government has announced they're keeping their hands off of regulation for the time being, the chancellor has indicated his support, the BOE is busy researching and creating their own s**tcoin, RScoin... All in all, it's a pretty good time to be involved, as the banks are actually trying to compete now, rather than sitting back and laughing at us. Makes it much more fun :-) |

True. Some are accepting now although not a lot it is a good start. Yes it should be for online shopping also, it is an online money so that is the better way to use it right? |

Many reasons behind people not using bitcoin at a moment, and I think they are not that knowledgeable about bitcoin and they have hesitation to invest in something that is really new to them.
actually people just love to innovation with new things. why they do not join with bitcoin? perhaps because they do not know what is bitcoin? so they have not yet joined I think they are thinking the bitcoin is just a investment and you cannot pay things with it plus I think they are scared to invest in it, do not want to risk their money. Most likely these will be the reason why they won't invest. |

People do remember bitcoin price were at 1000 dollars ,and the same way they exposed it then they made the same when the price went to 200 dollars soo i believe this is the main reason and the others is the image connected to dark marketplaces.

I remember some use that lost almost all its bitcoins because the goverment went at his company and took all and he lost some fiat money as well.This isnt jail but sure would scare the most to keep or be at bitcoin .

The truly reason is they have lots of hesitation by using it because they dont know or no gauramtee that they can earn by using it. They dont also know the system how to earn and what is benifits by using bitcoin.they afraid to lose monet because its online wallet and very hackable by pro hackers. For that people i can say they need education or mentor so they can know more deeper about bitcoin. |

Not all the world will always be scared of some cases that happened in fast and will never use bitcoin. They will surely use it one day or another, but they are just hesitating now because the users are too little right now. |

They are only stopping when they see that the value is quite low and they are negative about the value but that is not needed because it will rise in the future and that will be nice. Around this time the value is now quite stable and a lot of people are not happy with it because they want to earn profit. |

This will not happen i think in future also. But if any country government think about it seriously means some country may ban because here no tax deduction is there so no profit for government. But now people why they stopping using bitcoin means most of people got cheatting in some business and some people are telling there is no security for digital currency so people are slightly stop using bitcoin. |

IMO, not all know bitcoin at all...even those who are always online in facebook, if you ask them what is bitcoin, they don't know about it, and sometimes they search the internet just to answer your question...So by that, I could tell that only few knows about bitcoin...So those changes that you mention won't be possible for them to realize... |

IMO, not all know bitcoin at all...even those who are always online in facebook, if you ask them what is bitcoin, they don't know about it, and sometimes they search the internet just to answer your question...So by that, I could tell that only few knows about bitcoin...So those changes that you mention won't be possible for them to realize... most people dont need bitcoin as they dont have were to spend it!Womans like to shop ,open a store and accept bitcoin soo the mans can gift them and well they can talk each others saying i paid with bitcoin,my man gaved me and i bought a new jeans with it |
