People are stopping using Bitcoin when they see that they can earn profit with it and that is bad because they have to wait a longer time for a price increase. And that is because people are greedy this time and that is bad for them.
I can't actually pick up the point you are trying to give, but somehow i think your point matching to mine. My point is that people see that the price is fluctuating a lot and that could cause them loss, and for earning profit they would have to wait for too long, but they don't know about all the factors of bitcoin, they don't know that meanwhile when price is growing they can increase the amount of their bitcoins by doing other things like sig campaigns altcoin trading or selling their services etc.

I don't think people will trigger to stop using bitcoin because of they are earning with it. That is one the things that will encourage people use bitcoins, because they are earning from it. And it is benefit to them.

They can try trading or invest their bitcoin anymore.

If they are able to make money then they will continue to use it the only thing stopping people from using it the lack of knowledge how to use it and how to make money from it.

There is no difference between the currency aspect of Bitcoin and fiat currencies around the world. People interested in the currency aspect of Bitcoin can and will use it regardless of a higher or lower price.

Until people in general actually feels the need to use crypto currencies, mass adoption will just be a dream, or a hope at the most. There's no actual demand right now and maybe part of that is the lack of knowldege, fear over uncertainty and instability.
As mentioned fear of uncertainty and instability is found over most of the bitcoin users who had put lot of their hard earnings. Digital Currencies have not reached people as high as gold or other commodities, when digital currencies become common adoption will happen than the present.

They want something to hold on to.

I think majority of people are not aware about bitcoin yet, and if they don't know then we cannot expect that they will start using it.
Exactly, lack of knowledge is a big issue here, as many people have not even heard about bitcoin so its difficult to expect that they will start using it. Yeah lack of knowledge seems the issue why people doubting to use bitcoin and they are afraid to stake with it because they are afraid to lose their money because they dont know where to go and where to ask if they have problems about bitcoin and some other people are not really aware to it and seems it new to their eyes. It is not lack of knowledge but lack of faith that prevent people from using bitcoin.Even a person with good understanding of blockchain and crypto technology may be skeptical about Bitcoin.Faith and knowledge are two completely different things

It's harder to own something that you hardly know anything about. It's another thing to have it even though you have some doubts about its security. The same goes from my worries with fiat. That didn't stop me from using them altogether.

If they think like that then there's no improvement from them in this kind of cryptocurrency. Bitcoin is money so like fiat they must put some work to earn and gained it. Even a rich one putting some work even they have lots of money.

So after reading this article and especially the ending: One thing is for certain: having made Bitcoin less of a security worry, transparency will now be key in attracting users to new models, placing control of funds and fees in an upfront way in their own hands. I'm wondering what's stopping people from using bitcoin? And now I'm talking about people who already aware of bitcoin and how it works but still not using it. The price is now pretty much stable for more then a year, security issues are out of the question - so why we can't see in 2015 more companies switching to it, especially considering the unstable condition of moden economy? Extreme user unfriendliness, lack of wide spread adoption, non instantaneous transactions and extreme volatility relative to other assets we generally term as "money". Next question.

People fear technology.
There are people that still didnt use internet to buy things, bitcoin or credit card, simple because they dont trust that. Imagine use bitcoin for everything, they just cant trust that.
Bitcoin is new(yeah, it still new), give it more time. And even if bitcoin die at some point another crypto will take it place.

I agree with the lack of information, They think bitcoin is just like a pyramiding scam that all networking does, they don't know what is the advantage of it. and how will they become rich on mining and trading. The pleasure of not having a boss and work for 8 hours a day. Having more time to your family while having passive earnings to mining is the most great opportunity that we have right now knowing bitcoin. Someday more and more will learn how to use bitcoin.
