I'm a female Bitcointalker ^_^ Got into bitcoin at the beginning of the year from the mobile game - Bitcoin Billionaire. I'm a game & web developer and I'm mostly interested about Bitcoin in gaming. ] I am the founder of Fun Coin Games and I hope to spread happiness through Bitcoin ^_^ I currently run two game faucet websites - Robot Coin Game and Wonderland Coin I'm also big on Bitcoin helping people around the world and have used my faucets to raise Bitcoin for charities.

I hope I've got my friends intrigued with Bitcoin as well. I am giving them Bitcoin for their birthdays and I also plan to give my family Bitcoin for Xmas :p These are exciting times!!

I don't have any female bitcoin talkers around me.
But I would love to have one, but it seems like fat chance.
Women tend to think this is geek stuff and boring, sadly.

Yes it was a she.

A friend(?) of Mircea Popescu, used to lurk the forum here and post basing asset exchanges and various other services for not being secure while advertising bitcoin-assets a.k.a. MPEX.co

I think she was banned from a mod out of spite and never returned. Here's the profile.

I found it's very hard to inspire females to use bitcoin.  I tried to invite 20 female friends who are aging from 19 to 45 to use bitcoin by giving them free bitcoin 0.25BTC each.  Only 10 of them accepted.  These ten ladies accept to use bitcoin, but they never talk about bitcoin, they never heard of bitcointalk.org.  What they like to talk are just hairdressing, shopping, keeping fit ...

I'm curious is there any female BitcoinTalker around you?
I wish there would be any, it could be great but not even many guy friends here care about it

The only online casino on which i won something. I made 17mBTC from 1mBTC in like 15 minutes.  This is not paid AD!

I dont think so thats it hard to talk about bitcoins.... Moreover they will start asking about it... My own sister asked about it when i told her about bitcoins and smooth transactions in online shopping

I don't think there's any bitcointalkers around me period. I don't know a single person in real life who has ever even had the slightest interest in bitcoins.
My roommate is a female who I've tried extensively to introduce to bitcoins, but honestly there is just no incentive for them to do so at this point.

Getting a female roommate is the greatest chance to get introduced into bitcoin while you find some leisure time. I guess we should not think of any incentives to make them to attract into bitcoin. Instead there are lot of faucet sites which offer free hourly bitcoins, which will make them to start attracted to bitcoin.

I'm female and love bitcoin, not because I'm a geek but because it has the potential to end the corrupt monetary system we have today, which is at the source of many other 'problems', such as war and poverty. (as everyone here knows)

Here's a video I made last year:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RY9oaxdt91o

And a slideshow made in 2012:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hO5ondiZTH4

And my bitcoin fashion facebook page:
https://www.facebook.com/bitcoinfashion

I got my Russian (girl!) friend to like bitcoin too, here we are dancing in the I love Bitcoin t-shirts we made:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YH_3AV5n_iU

 Wink
Since you're female i think it's best to ask this question to you
"What does it take to attract womens to use bitcoin"
They said women understand each other so let's see if you can answer this Wink

That's a good question actually! To be honest, it's very hard, even for me, to find or to make other girls interested in Bitcoin. Giving out these cute t-shirts was probably the closest I got to getting girl's interest.

Another thing that might work is to explain the reason why the current financial system is so evil and problematic and why bitcoin is a solution to that. Nothing's more exciting than a REVOLUTION to make the world a better place Wink If it's hard to explain or she's too impatient to listen, watch some documantaries like 'all wars are Bankers wars' or the 2nd part of Zeitgeist of 'The Lie we Live'.

Good luck! Smiley

P.S a short explanation I usually use goes something like this:
There are of course many problems in the world, but to make the biggest impact and positive change we need to address the source. Zoom out and you will see almost any issue can be linked back to the financial system. It’s not hard to understand. Some have the power to create money, others give up their time and energy to work for it. The ones who supply the money, control and rule this planet. As long as you accept their paper currency, you keep giving them this power. Wherever money goes, energy flows. Stop accepting their money and they'll soon lose their power. Use and store your value in a currency that cannot be controlled or manipulated, because it's transparent, decentralized and limited in supply. BITCOIN! CheesyCheesy

WOW!!! What a WISE girl, you are!  Are you a Jedi-girl? Smiley

we still have to give some thing offer type what womans like it, like mens like to gamble mostly so the most of the gamble site have started accepting bitcoin, like that if online shoping for female products also starts accepting bitcoin and give offer if they use bitcoin, then i think we can see more womans talking about bitcoin, in their circle.

Aren't mothers thrifty shoppers - as a whole - thus via Bitcoin some product lines are cheaper? Don't some have kids goin' to college that may need money every now and then where Bitcoin is cheaper to remit? Aren't there some women who own businesses that would love to save on credit card fees? Aren't there some women whose line of work consist of ... to put it delicately ... fucking [married] men where they and their clients would love (no pun intended) to have or make payment as discretely as possible? Are there not women who would like to hide some moneys especially if they foresee a divorce down the line? Aren't there women who hate carrying money around and would also love to rid their expensive credit or debit cards?
