no, you need to learn what the marketcap is. it says 1.7 Billion! where did that 1.7 billion USD come from??? hey john I know it seems like a lot but this coin has been around for almost 2 years. It currently has more capacity than any other crypto and has 0 fees protocol. This is why the 1.7 billion comes from

the IOC raised 1330 Btc 2 years ago. Many investors took profits and cashed out months and over a year ago. It has a good coin distribution and is currently getting better distribution

come on, you're dishonest, compare cryptos in same same price range tools and ecosystem in general, iota don't belong to this rank ; for the moment. any chance to have a link to some C tools if they exists ? iiot, iot, industry 4.0, all of that is great words, but there is no point in targeting m2m value exchange without low level libraries/tools

Why it was just listed on a Exchange, given it has been around for a while? Before that, how do IOTA re-distributed? OTC traded?

It is great is it not? You have to scavange reddit and forums to find the answer. The answer is that you have to write your own Seed with uppercase letters. Also apprently no spaces, but they don't tell you that until you create your first seed and see that it should not have spaces like other seed, so then you have to redo it. And then make sure to only deposit small amount to the account, then log out and login to make sure you have written down your seed right to match what you enter, as they don't actually make you double check so you entered the seed correctly or that you are in the same wallet the next time you log in until you sacrifice some money. I am invested in crypto, but I actually don't think it deserves to grow to mainstream.

This function was removed from version 2.3.0. You have to create a seed on your own. It has to have 81 chars consisting out of capital letters and number 9. Example SKVBOV9LARQ9SROHJJJTPREYYPYLNVE9FBCEGCDVTFMZBXTFBHN9ECGOLLEHGTRBNCTTGDWZPXXZWKL IS i can't seem to find generate seed under tools in latest wallet, any ideas guys. Thanks.

This coin is literally worthless. Has a 1.8 billion market cap because there's simply so many coins.

Why do these Devs think its okay to sell so many coins before putting it on an exchange? It makes it seem so sketchy.
Let the average investor get in cheap. It shows that you're are honest and transparent about the distribution of tokens.
I think this will be a big lesson to be learned as more people come into this space with their own coins.

Idiot
https://iota.readme.io/v1.2.0/docsWhat is the total supply of IOTA?
The total supply of IOTA is (3^33-1) / 2, which equals to a total number of IOTA's of 2779530283277761 2,779,530,283,277,761 Dude the amount of coins in supply has ABSOLUTELY ZERO to do with the value of each coin. Its the amount of money invested into the coin that gives it value. Cryptocurrency 101 come on man

The idiocrocy is almost unbearable. A valuation does not have everything to do with how much total is invested into it from the beginning.

Just the opposite, they did let people in cheap, as you can see if you read the 450 pages of this thread. What they didn't do is hype it like crazy like those newer ICOs.
