The price has been relative stable since launch, that's odd and good. Congrats

Probably magic behind this is that deposit to bitfinex is disabled.

Now that we know our first exchange I would like to announce the first winner!
Please provide me with your address for depositing your winnings!

1. Bitfinex
2. Polo
3. Cryptox.pl
4. Kraken
5. Bittrex
6. Yobit

COMPETITION

Finally exchange! lets see which ones is iota going to be listed on?

anyone take a guess?
(edit 4)win 5Gi up to ???Gi if you guess it right first!
only posts below this comment on this thread counts!

competition closes when we have 5 listings or 1months from now (edit2:) or 1week after first listing.(which ever one is more)

you will only get one chance to play, so only your first qualifying post will count. edited posts do not count and will be void/not considered.
make a new post if you need editing and try delete the old post.
edit (only one winner per correct answer.)

this is the way its going to work;
write down in the correct order you think iota gets listed, for every order you get correct you win 5GI,
EDIT3: (Guys! Alot of creativity here but please, i do not consider ydx.slack.com as an exchange. please make new post as your guess no. with ydx.slack.com will be counted as a wrong guess.)
example.

1.exchange lists iota 1st
2.exchange name lists iota 2nd
3.exchange name lists iota 3rd
4.exchange name lists iota 4th
5.exchange name lists iota 5th
6.exchange name lists iota 6th
7.exchange name lists iota 7th
8.exchange name lists iota 8th
9.exchange name lists iota 9th
10.exchange name lists iota 1oth
....etc

PS to everyone else. Do not try to edit your old posts I have a log that I saved, I will name and shame if you did.

Sorry to say that iota devs have been rushing iota to Bitfinex despite this coin IS NOT READY for prime time.

Light wallets needing an eternity until connecting to the net
Transfers don't go through
Wallets crashing...
What a joke!

iota is still in beta and pushing that coin to Bitfinex will damage iotas reputation (and the reputation of it's devs).

@CFB Any ETA for IOTA to be listed on other exchanges?

Just asking because  I would hate to create a bitfinex account just to trade IOTA.

In a way I am glad that IOTA is not yet on other exchanges. It gives the dev team a bit of breathing room to iron out any last minute issues that the exchanges might encounter. After all IOTA is unlike anything they have on the exchanges so give bitfinex some slack and not hate.

You're a joke, there was no rush to Bitfinex, they were in collaboration for a long time.
It's their deposit/withdrawal process that's PROBABLY having flaws which were not possible to test a non-live version!
That is their business planning problem! And they have to fix it.

Iota's transfer in/out is working perfectly fine!

LIGHT WALLETS are only there to help you guys with something easy to use which are run by the communities, and they have no obligations what so ever!
You have a problem with light wallets, then run a full node.

Same question
On MarketCap

On bitfinex price 0.0002btc Huh

In bitfinex it is sold in 1,000,000 portions of iota per Mi.
IOT symbol is made by Bitfinex or Coinmarketcap which is confusing. It should be IOTA (1iota) or MIOTA (1million iotas)

otherwise 2quadrillion coins x 0.0002btc = out of our galaxy price.

it is a large supply because its designed for micro transactions/iot devices, humans trade in multiples of 1million iotas.

The number is similar to Bitcoin.

2 100 000 000 000 000 satoshi in Bitcoin.

2 779 530 283 277 760 iotas in Iota.

The difference is in Bitcoin they decided to make it divisible in the user interface.

Incredible scam.
Not IOTA, but Bitfinex.

Disable Deposit for all, but doesn't stop Trade. And a little group of people who made deposit are trading now...

So when they enable it again, the price will drop due to an overflow of offered IOTA?

Very likely, a lot of people that wanted to dump their coins did not get the chance to do so. Hence an artificially high price atm.

on the counter side: there was a lot of trading OTC since ICO and a lot of investors wanting to dump their coin did it already. From the whales I know, none of them wants to sell before 10b$ market cap.

That could very well be true but I for one would be very hesitant to buy when I know that there's several people out there that have made like 2000x roi and that are waiting for a certain market cap to dump.
