For you which could be the most important impact that bitcoin have made, will make or has been making to our society?

I think the best impact that Bitcoin trigger me so much is when doing money transfer to someone important to you, Why I said that? It is because anywhere in the world you can send money without any hassle moment/hassle free just you have an online loptop or cellphone you/we can do it at once.

The block chain is the main innovation of Bitcoin. It is the first distributed timestamping system.

There's no external interference whatsoever when it comes to sending or receiving money, it's fast and transparent and anonymous and also secure at the same time. Earning and spending it easier as it's a hassle free process. It's pioneer in the history of decentralized currencies be it fiat or digital one.

There's none because we are decentralized and not outside parties can interfere our transaction. Unlike transacting in a government regulated online payment processor they can reverse any transaction when proven suspicious or anomalous. With bitcoin, there's no restriction at all and that is the great for all of us.

that is not a restriction, it is a feature and in fact it is a good feature too. we have all seen scammers online and in many cases having the option to do a charge back is good for customers. you should always see things from two point of view (the customer and the merchant) and having that reversal option is favorable for customers in case they encounter any problems with the merchant.

No restriction if it's direct, what if people use exchanges services? It's not different from being a non decentralized.

And besides how come you say that government or whatever else online processor that has being centralized by the government are proven suspicious? So you mean all the government officials are all corrupt? Majority yes but it's not as everyone thins that "ALL" are fraud. It's not like that since at least a single official will condone that activity and therefore it can bring up a support from lower house or something like that. Plus take note also of the staff members of the said company that is employed on those online payment processor, are they all fraud and one is kind?

Why in the world will those online payment processor still alive today even they are proven suspicious according to your view? Please explain it more as this statement is totally a crap. How come you have a poor regulations of money transfer in your country.

well you can't say it didn't have any impact. Since a lot of people are using bitcoin, governments banning it, people investing into it,etc.. that must be an impact, even if it's a small one, still an impact. Cheesy Also, the userbase  of bitcoin is growing day by day and slowly making bigger and bigger impact

Need some spare btc for a new PC that can at least run Adobe Dreamweaver.

In terms of it's impact in society, I think it being decentralized is the one that will impact the society most. With it being impact, their money cannot be restricted by the government and that's why many of those who do transaction in deepweb use bitcoin. It being easy to use and to send and receive might make an impact in the society and it's volatility since it is what makes it worth investing for everyone.

I think the biggest potential use for Bitcoin would be to be able to store funds in case of devaluation of your national currency or other measures imposed by the government.

Just look at India, where people are massively turning to Bitcoin after their government banned certain bank notes.

This happens rarely on which users will know about it, but in my view one of the best impact is every user having his own wallet without any others making changes or controlling it. We the user only has the access unlike other bank account.

I'm curious if their government now chose to cancel that decision, would people returned to fiat? Or even more people would switch to Bitcoin? On the flip side, though, the population of India is well over a billion of people. If only a small percentage of them actually turned to Bitcoin and that would be for real, the price would skyrocket in less than no time. But we don't see that happening, the price seems to be moving in the $700-750 range for a long time already...

Thereby, the number of people turning to Bitcoin in India is in fact not that large

Soon the banks will be of no use if bitcoin becomes popular and worldwide usable..
If Bitcoin starts being accepted in a large number of places, and if most people adapt to it, this can happen. But I would not say it will happen soon. The adoption of a technology like this, by the majority of the population, can take many years, maybe decades...
Yeah it will takes many generations for people to begin using and accepting bitcoin because fiat money still plays a key role in most people's lives and it's still the factor which influences a country's growth. So it's quite difficult for bitcoin to take over the place of fiat currency in just a few years like right now, I hope this would change sooner or later.

I don't think banks will allow bitcoin to replace them so easily. But in order for that to happen a large, large number of people must adopt bitcoin and then in a few generations, banks would be somewhat obsolete.

Banks are still needed because bitcoin is just digital currency online.. for me it is still not safe if we save our money in bitcoin.. so banks still more safe and i think any people who are holding a large money i think they will choose safety places like banks..

If it ever comes to that (which could be loosely dubbed as Bitcoin replacing banks), banks will start using Bitcoin themselves. If ordinary people can earn profits through Bitcoin, why banks can't do the same? I guess they could earn even more since they certainly have experience and tools required for running Bitcoin in a big way. But that doesn't mean that they will care for it, they will throw it away as soon as it is no longer profitable for them...

And they may greatly contribute to that themselves

Of course banks will, some already have discovered bitcoin as an opportunity to make profit.
Ther is already a fond in Switzerland that is based on bitcoin. But bitcoin simply has not the capabiltys to replace banks.
Banks are more than just a flow of money. They offer services, consultings and many other things. Bitcoin can't do that.

  It's me!!!
