No way. I believe the price will go x2 high or even more after the halving. And before it, it will probably stay somewhere around $400. But this is just my estimation.

I don't even think that we'll get to see single digits soon, seeing that many things have already been established in the bitcoin world and the financial world itself. Big-time investors wouldn't simply let this happen, of course.

I am sure that speculators and yolo investors will take a chance to make great amounts of money during the times there is really a flaw in Bitcoin. People will keep their hopes up that there will be a solution to fix the flaw in question. And that makes that Bitcoin will always have value. |

Bitcoin will never fall so low, probability if not succeed to break 1000$ will fluctuate between 100$ and 800$. And when everybody dumps someone will start collecting all those coins and price will rise again. I just dont see end of it.
Only if asteroid hit the Earth and electric power becomes luxury again.

Well, I don't think so, because it ain't a penny stock that just climbed overnight and then came back to few cents back and the game got over...
It's an experiment which costed everything to Satoshi, from his time to his brains, and I don't think it will ever diminish this way...

But we do not know whether that is certainly going to happen.

Tell you what OP, I'll pay a penny for every bitcoin in existence. Now it won't drop to zero and you can get some sleep.  What happens when you get them all and noone else will buy them from you? 0$ Actually less than 0$ because you would have to pay for someone to take them. I have never sold a bitcoin, but if I owned them all I would start selling them for $10,000 each. Take it or leave it, the price would be $10K.  what about instead of selling, start using it at 10k? sounds better to me, you can ever do it right now, it will help bitcoin grow even farther in value I do not think it will happen. But we'll see later what happens. Because I think the fact is rising because I low the price is best and I also see that it is slightly higher. |

Even if it reach $200 there will be so many buyers so I don't think it can go lower. The problem will be the mining industry, due to low value of bitcoin they'll be operating at a loss at first then one by one farms will quit its operations bringing the difficulty down which may increase the earnings again but maybe just to break-even. |
