Yeah and if it falls there that means its an end of it, no one will use it and will switch to some other better and innovative product that will be available at that point of time.

I don't think that is possible that bitcoin can get to $0 as its now time for grow and it will break many records in future so the price will be more higher in future.

I mean the possibility of it recourse going back to 2012 and years before that is obviously low.

But there can be periods of time where bitcoin prices can have temporary small setbacks, but not zero completely.

Yes and if it goes to zero then I think it will be an end of bitcoin, as majority of users will stop using bitcoin thinking that it can never rise again.

If the bitcoin price drops to $200, that will be the end of the bitcoin. The mining cost is more than $250 now.

yes but they have soem time before shutting down everything, it's not like if the price drop below their profit, the network will end immediately

miners have accumulated plenty of bitcoin, they can mine even at loss for a certain time frame

It can not go to 0 without a steady decline since it's inception it is that volatile, even for bitcoin that is unprecedented.
That scenario is like saying the sky is falling, when actually it isn't  Roll Eyes

Not really, if people stop mining, the cost of mining would go down because the difficulty for mining would go down: It will be easier to mine due hashing going down. Someone will always find profit out there, Bitcoin self regulates itself, it cannot die no matter what price it is at.

It will be not drop to that low, as you can see you will know that the value will rise in the future soon because the halving is also coming and that can be nice for Bitcoin, you are not for sure.
But it wont drop it is now stable enough to keep that value and maybe it is going to rise soon.

it will never go to such price to be honest, i doubt there is a possibility that the price might drop that hard right now because all people cant lose interest all at once

though if it would happen i believe most whales that own bitcoin would have to dump it all making people want to sell that too and the price would quickly reduce to really low numbers then

It never dropped that low 4-5 months ago, it has always hovered around high $200 to low $300 around that time. Maybe 4-5 years ago  Cheesy
If it was that price half a year ago, don't you think there would be more people here trying to sell?

I think it's impossible to happen this year as I can see many have adopt bitcoin as their currency.
For example :
Hotel ( bali ) , restaurant ( Netherland ) , workplace ( Philipines ) and many will come as bitcoin existence getting noticed more worldwide

I remember when they were pennies and we were over the moon at the high valuation. Bitcoin is a computer program and does not need your money. There is no price that bitcoin must be at to survive.

I`m sure it doesnt need our money. But we need the valuation based off of something which is our fiat - current system.

But that would mean all the VC money is waste, because they expect a return on something someday?

Oh yes it would be a mess if we dropped to say $50. Many mines would go bust, many VC funded projects would be dashed. But, there is no reason that the system would not work. Although some would lose confidence.

The price can only go to 0 euro of people lost faith in bitcoin. Which can happen if some new cutting edge technology comes and/or it will be banned to use bitcoin.

It would be needed a real planetary catastrophe to see that price again, and that is why I don't believe it is possible, my friend.

SNOT going to happen.  As long as there are gamblers, perverts, and computer geeks who need to transfer wealth to each other, bitcoin will survive.  I'm 99.9% sure of that.

At one point I was pretty sure it was going to die, and there is a possibility it can drop back to 2009 levels.  Stranger things have happened in the world.  But I doubt it--it's gained way too much traction.
