So, there is no exchange succesfully compiled?!
They haven't tried, except C-CeX, who just arent installing the GMP Libraries Why is the compile so complex so that the people struggle? Surely you can make things easier for the exchanges? I put a guide in the readme, how much easier can it get

lmao the one thing you can ALWAYS count on - No matter how 'easy' or 'error-proof' things are made, THERE WILL ALWAYS BE PEOPLE WHO DONT UNDERSTAND (some people just dont have terminal experience, due to a lifetime of winblows use). One click methods (or single line command) are always the best option for ease-of-use lol. That said, Ill be testing the new makefile later today (tried on day 3, before makefile was fixed). Hopefully I wont be one of the ones with issues building lol

I put a guide in the readme, how much easier can it get What does the exchanges then have against the coin that they do not want to list it? There must be some reason. If you can identify that then you know what to fix to get it listed. Have you fixed for example the message that says it is experimental code that should not be used for mining etc? If not then maybe exchanges dont trust experimental code? Maybe if you start doing something and show everyone that you are a real developer and not just a copier of experimental code, then people and exchanges will take you seriously. It is not fud, just straight questions and recommendations because nothing is going to happen if you just sit back and wait for a listing. I too would like to see a listing. You could for example start building trust by listing concrete things you did so far except for: - copy code - change algo - changed makefile - promises of future features (I repeat - promises only)

Thank you for emphasizing the word promise
and thank you for giving a psychologist answer and sidestepping the real issues. The chances of getting a listing is small until you fix the critical stuff although I hope that I am wrong. I checked 1.0.3 and it still says pre-release experimental test build. If I remember correctly the guy whose code you copied posted some of the issues to fix earlier in the thread. Maybe you are lucky and a listing will happen - you never know. I am extremely patient so I dont mind about exchanges or waiting until you do some concrete coding or delivering something substantial or changed the code from being experimental to fully productionalized. There are also not that many CPU mineable coins around. I am a strong believer in price as a lagging indicator so I would like to see what price the market attaches to your performance so far. Iv turned my miners off in any case as there is no way to tell what the cost of mining is. I am just revving you for the sake of the others as it seems that there are many people posting that are anxious about exchanges.

Linux daemon wallet now up and running fine in a clean build Ubuntu test server Mining is now working from the Linux "fantomd" wallet I could do a block explorer but I see you already have one (even though it needs a tweak or two) Now experimenting to see if I can create a mining pool then again you would need a miner for that so maybe not yet Dev - you have plenty of suggestions for your next steps. You should also include a website in the list of things to do that gives basic coin info, wallet download etc. You also need twitter, IRC or other social media locations Good luck Looking forward to exchange listing once you get your changes / extra resources sorted
