Let's be real. This board has been hilarious for trash talk, and this series has been scrappy as all get-out, but I would have loved to see these two teams go at it with both squads at full-strength. I have a lot of respect for Miami for retooling so quickly and getting back to 3rd seed in a very competitive Eastern Conference.

I think you guys don't understand that "high salary request". It's doesn't always mean that a player must demand it. That is out of line. It's an offer that was made by a NBA team. Kobe, James and other big players, you think they request for a high salary? No. The respective team of theirs offers high salary so this player will not left and to surpass other team's offer. For example Lillard's 4.2million USD 2016 salary, and he wants to increase it. Salary cap is important that's why offering high salary for players must be budgeted.
