You guys watching the Lakers today?
Seems like they are at it again, they might loss this game because they suns are still leading.
If they cannot beat this team which is the worst team in the NBA, then I guess we have to say goodbye on their hope.

The Phoenix Suns was able to hold off the Lakers late rally, winning 118-109. James did a magnificent jump trying to get the Lakers back in the game in the last minutes and was able to pull within 3, but that was it as the Suns got to the free throws in the final minute and hitting six to close the slow. James almost had a triple double, 27 points, 16 assists and nine rebounds. Yes, say goodbye to their playoff hope this season with that crucial lost again.

It is going to hurt the veterans with just a year contract in Lakers.
They really want that playoff spot but they need to do their best to get it.
Losing streaks had been happening after Lebron is back. But have you seen their games while he is in injury? Grin

It aint funny but that is a fact. James almost got triple double in every game but why the hell are they losing? Is it really the role players who are having a problem or vice versa?
Every time Lebron is back they have been having a hard time to move on the floor. I dont know why but they will need to talk about that.

Eastern Conference.
Magic and Piston with 30 wins at 7th and 8th spot while Hornets is still trying to get the 8th spot at 29 wins and Heat at 28 wins.

Western Conference.
Now this is way far. They need perfect wins here.
Spurs and Clippers at 35 wins for the 7th and 8th spot. While Kings at 31 wins and Lakers at 30.

It is not the end but they need perfection in both offense and defense.

They have a bad record when Lebron was injured and his first game back they won.
But since the pressure is on for the team, they are not playing like the normal these past few days and that makes them loss more games.
The expectation is over for this team, Phoenix Suns is not a thread, instead it's a bad team but they cannot pull a win.

I guess the fans would be saying now, what if they have Davis? It's sure be a different story.

Oh well, the drama has really taken a toll of their team. Look at them today, from a series playoff contender before all the drama from dead spot. They should have gotten that AD scenario and should focus more on the game since Lebron is already back, unfortunately, they have lost again and the interest of their young players and the hope of getting to the playoffs is gone.

As for the veterans? It's gonna be over as well, we don't know if their contract are going to be extended after this season, veterans like Javale, Rondo, Lance and Chandler career will be up in the air that's for sure.

Lebron is still a good player and one of the best in the league but he isn't that thirst in a ring anymore. He doesn't need to prove anything anymore but of course still it's more fun to watch if he's in playoffs. If they can't acquire any of this KD, Irving, AD, Klay, I guess the same fate will happen next season for Lakers.

You can't say that he isn't thirsty for another ring. He moves to Lakers, he needs to prove he can bring a championship to the city. If he doesn't have the thirst then it's better for him to retire. He still has a lot to prove because he claims to be the GOAT, but with just 3 championships, how can you call yourself the greatest?

3 championship might be few to be called yourself as the greatest but even just winning a single ring wont really be that easy so consider that "3" is the thing you should be proud of.
Talking about retirement its way too far actually and there are still lots of things to prove out.I cant deny that seeing LeBron on playoffs do really adds up the entertainment.

Jeeeesus Christ, how the hell do you lose to SUNS, the team that is basically tanking to get a pick. I mean if you can't beat suns who are you suppose to win against? I am calling it for Lakers, they are not making the playoffs at all. From now on I feel like even Lebron won't even try to make it to playoffs, they are going to just give up.

This game was the breaking point, Luke Walton will be fired, he will probably find an assistant coaching job somewhere else more likely than not, also Lebron will probably be "injured" for the last games and they will just miss playoffs and not even get a good draft this year anyway. They need to start putting ALL of their work towards getting someone great on this free agency or they will be seriously screwed. They have no other chance than get AT LEAST one more super star like Anthony Davis (anyone at that level would be fine) or they will continue to suck next year too.

Lol, I can feel your frustrations man. It might be that the Lakers are not really trying to get into the playoffs although mathematically possible, I doubt that they will really push through this season.

It's possible that Luke could be relegated to the assistant position and Lakers management will hire someone more experience to deal with superstars like Lebron. There could be changes in the line up as well, specially with those veterans with just a 1 year contract with the team.

People are putting too much bearing on championships when discussing who is the greatest.  I think Lebron is a better overall player than Jordan.  The 6 rings doesn't matter to me because Jordan always had stacked teams and Pippen is better than any player Lebron has ever played with.

Lebron playes with a lot of great players in his time Dwayne Wade, Chris Bosh, Kyrie Irving, and even Ray Allen which all of them have he won championships with. But I am not here to argue with you sadly the truth is before you can even be included in the talks for being the greatest of all time you need to win a lot of championships that is why you won't hear names such as Tracy Mcgrady, Charles Barkley, George Gervin, Dominique Wilkins, or even Karl Malone in that kind of talks. Both the sports fans and analysts have mutually agreed that championships are an important thing for a player to be the GOAT.

I partly agree, being a champ is one of the key factor for a player to be included in the Goat talks, but the number of championships a player have, doesnt necessarily matters. Take Bill Russel as an example. IMO and keen observation, a player could be included in the GOAT talks in terms of how he influenced the game and the team. Some might say Lebron doesnt even deserved to in that conversation, but look how he change the game, we havent seen a 6'8  250 pounds who is very quick and versatile and a good all around player.

A playoffs kind of game from the Detroit Pistons and Toronto Raptors.
Pistons badly need that win to stay at the 7th spot with 31 wins now and if this will stay they may be really playing Raptors at the playoff matchup at 7th vs 2nd spot.

Casey ex coach of the Raptors very emotional in the game and leaving the floor after they won it. Looks like there is still some hate in his heart or he could just be very competitive.

Reggie Jackson and Drummond made some clutch shots for the game winner.
Hope to see more of this kind of games.

Raps just look exposed. Nurse isn't an upgrade over Casey.

And why does Boston suck so much.

Bucks will come out of the east

I agree with that, lebron didn't win the ring alone as he needed to be transfer to Heat and go back to Cavs to play alongside with co-superstars from his generation, being the top above all the superstars he can't replaced MJ's name from there, 6 rings from that era is really an achievements where pride is higher than money, from MJ's generations always proving their worth and not just aiming to have a big paycheque to compete.

Though we all lives from different generations and we do our owned opinions about matters we believes,
it's the general opinion will matter most about this.

That's just one game, Raps are still doing better, do not underestimate the pistons, they are playoff team also and they are playing well at home.
Home court advantage will be a big difference comes playoff time and will see more games like this.

Also, Leonard did not play in this game.

And why does Boston suck so much.

Because they don't like Irving?
With Irving the ball movement is very limited, they do better without them.
Jayson Tatum can score 20+ points without Irving as they play better, we've seen that in the last season.

Bucks will come out of the east

No question, they will be the beast in the East and they could possibly be champ this season.

Post of the day lol.
Have you ever heard of someone named Magic Johnson ? He played 30 years before Lebron.  Wink
You Lebron fanboys should stop with the nonsense. You're either trolling or you have no idea what you're talking about.
Jordan, Magic, Chamberlain and Jabbar are the top players of all time. You could include Russell as well. These guys revolutionized the game, Lebron didn't whatever you may think.
Then you have guys like Lebron, Kobe, Bird... but just because you like Lebron, you've seen him play and you believe he has lots of skills for a tall guy doesn't put him in the same category as those legends above.
Be serious just one minute.

I don't think they look exposed or anything. After all, they hold the second best record in the entire league. As freedomgo mentioned, Kawhi did not play, they also had Mark Gasol play as a starter last night, can't tell if they were trying new lineups or just matching up Blake and Drummond. On top of that, they lost in a tight game in overtime against a team that has a good little streak goin' on (8-2).

Looks like there is still some hate in his heart or he could just be very competitive.

He is hardly over the fact that he was fired after winning coach of the year award and Raptors having franchise high 59 reg season wins. I'd be butthurt if I was him.  Tongue

Pau Gasol finally joined the Milwaukee Bucks team.
He is a good player but I think he is a little bit old and I don't know if he will be able to help the team, especially in the playoff series which is kind of tiring.

What do you think guys? Is this signing going to empower the Bucks squad?

It's not how gasul play the game anymore. What the bucks needs is the leadership during crucial games especially in the playoffs where in composure is needed. Gasul can calm down the players when they became stiff in their plays and that's what veteran players can do in crucial games.
