I definitely did not see Wolves going up 2-0 against Nuggets AT ALL! That is seriously incredible, this Anthony Edwards dude is doing way too much, like way more than I could ever imagine, and I am not just talking about offense, he is great there of course, but he is great at defense as well.

I can see the comparisons to MJ to be fair, not about talent or level but about the playstyle that they had on their early years. I am not saying Wolves will win the title, but I think it looks quite obvious that we are going to end up with seeing them do quite well, and maybe even have that chance. Celtics look like they do not have much competition at east this season, it would require a big upset for them to not be at the finals, and I think they may even have a chance to win the whole thing.

I also did not expect Nuggets' situation at all. If someone told me they would lose two games at home like this, I would never have believed. What Timberwolves are doing is quite important. Nuggets are kinda in their prime also IMO, they were not bad at all. Timberwolves's defence is getting really good. Edwards's situation is also getting very interesting. He is 'at least' as athletic as Jordan. Since kobe, very few players have come to the league with such a high level of both defence and offence. His potential is really high. Right now, he is the most exciting player for me.

For the other known players that have done crazy things too, they're just fined. They've probably got metrics on who's going to be suspended and who's going to be just fined.

Anyway, that really made Murray pissed when he's guarded and doubled by the Timberwolves. They know how weak he is mentally and sure Finch will do the same tactic on their next meeting.

I guess the player history has a whole lot to do with how the fines and/or suspension are ditched out, If it were to be Draymond Green who did that yesterday, I'm sure at least a game suspension would have been included, Jamal Murray isn't known to be such a person with violent character and isn't much of a repetitive offender in this case, hence the need for just a fine alone was probably the best way to show leniency, but I can guarantee that and future antic like this would attract a more stiff penalty, just like the case of Pat Beverley I made mention of earlier, I just read a report from Shams Charania who said according to his source, the Indianapolis Police are currently reviewing the case of Pat Bev, and regardless of the legal outcome, I'm quite sure there will be a hefty penalty for Bev from the league's office, Suspension most likely without pay and heavy fine too, at the very least.

Yeah, that might count as a contribution to the verdict as he did that on that occasion but he doesn't do it oftentimes. If he do it again for the next games, then that's when the suspension might come but I don't think it's necessary anymore as they'd be out of the playoffs then. So, a fine as good as before.

And unless the player really push the button of the NBA, they won't simply put heavy penalties for the superstars in the league. Murray doesn't have history of being dirty though and perhaps that is also taken into account.

But I do agree, it players how has precedent already like Draymond Green, not just hefty fines, he could even be suspended even if it is playoff time. So we can say that NBA are someone favoring certain players and it's very obvious in the case of Jamal Murray here.

Yeah, you guys are right about that. The history of the player probably did the thing there and about that.

But to be honest, that's sort of a dangerous maneuver that he did there. Yeah, no one got hurt but I am imagining what if it's on the intense rebounding and blocking and then a player suddenly slid to that pack with strong impact.

You are not the only one that's surprised here and they were also the favorites to win again if I'm not mistaken. This Nuggets team is the same as last season and they are still strong this year as you can see how they almost sweep the Lakers.  It's just that the Wolves are different this time.

You are not the only one that's surprised here and they were also the favorites to win again if I'm not mistaken. This Nuggets team is the same as last season and they are still strong this year as you can see how they almost sweep the Lakers.  It's just that the Wolves are different this time.

Even as a Warriors fan, I thought the Nuggets would win the championship again based on their performance last year and this year. However, the Timberwolves stepped up their game and showed amazing defense, limiting both Jokic and Murray. Additionally, Murray displayed how he can't handle his emotions, making a dumb move that highlighted his mental weakness in a critical situation. If they guard him well while taunting him from the start, his focus will be easily distracted and that would be game over.

Yeah for sure, but it's going to be an easy said than done situation regardless of how prepared the Cavaliers are for their home court, because you sure would be expecting Joe Mazzulla and the Celtics to throw everything they've got at them, and anticipate every element of surprise.

Many didn't expect it to happen like what happened in Game 2 in their first series against the Heat. Now what happened in Games 3 & 4 in the first round will obviously not happen for the Celtics because they have a great opponent in Cleveland.

Like I said, relying on one player on offense doesn't work already in the NBA playoffs. It's good that Coach Bickerstaff made an adjustment to his players and let them shoot as well as compared to just relying on Mitchell. Now players like LeVert, Mobley, Garland and Okuro contributed on offense and that for me is the reason why they got a win on the road. Now they need to defend their home 2 times and they are still undefeated in their home this playoff. With this win by the Cavaliers, I already changed my prediction and most probably, this will go to a 7-game series, but if the Celtics can't manage to steal one on the road, then this will end in 6 games.

Anyway, the Celtics are one of the best road teams during the regular season, so there's a chance that they can steal one on the road.

Cleveland Cavaliers was x9.00 before the game started. As soon as it was confirmed that Jarrett Allen wouldn't be playing, the odds went up and the handicap boosted to +13 if I am right.
I was thinking about taking the bet, but I had no money left in my account as I already made the bet of +11 last night. Sad. Big win for Cleveland.

He was the key for the win in that game... What I like about the Mavs now is that they are trusting everyone on the floor and most especially is their defense that have improve significantly. Irving used to be the main man who takes the ball most of the time, but he understand his role here and even if he isn't productive in points but he was still productive on the floor making his teammates better.

The roles players of the Mavs should play good especially outside shooting as Irving and Luka will likely be consistently get doubled in the series, making them less productive but with great shooting from his teammates, them as a team is very deadly.

That was a mitchell show, he just showed how good he is. Mitchell is still one of the best player in the NBA now who can really carry his team behind his back. IMO, this isn't the same scenario like the Miami Heat, there's no way the Celtics will win the next 3 games to eliminate the Cavaliers. remember that this team have a good standing, they finished number 4 but they could end up at number 2 if mitchell wasn't out for a while due to injury.

This is possible though but unlikely to happen. However, if you really believe on that, you can put your bet with a 4-1 series record for the Cavaliers winning, that gives you a very big odds.
