Who can stop Giannis? He is keep rolling with amazing plays and performances something that I didn't expect happening when the season started. I believe that he has accomplished to have other legends such as Curry and Lebron being under his shadow.
For now he's making a big impact since his really progressing and day by day he's proving his worth and having the MVP title often needs to provide more and more. Though there's a lots of big players out there who also have amazing games players like Leonard and Luka which also being favorite by their own respective fans.

The hyped about Zion should not be on the big discussion now.
For those who are waiting to see him in 100%, wait for next season instead.
Seeing him in some of the recorded videos recently showing his athleticism after the injury is not an assurance that he will be like that on the court. Next season, there's no excuse now.

What to expect from a young core with an injured super hyped rookie.
Hype is normal because we are talking about the number 1 overall pick. I don't think the Pelicans will be able to secure a spot in the playoffs since they are less experienced team.
Well, Dallas are also a young team but they are in the playoff ranking now, so it's not impossible for the Pelicans to bounce back by winning games once their best player comes back, they are young but full of talent, I believe. Do you really believe that their number 1 rookie is their best player? Well, I don't think so since he hasn't proven anything yet and his playstyle is not suitable to carry a team. Anyways, that's based only on my own observation when he was in college. The fact that people are hyping Zion Williamson, they seem to believe that he will give his team a boost. Well we haven't seen him played yet in regular season yet but he had an awesome pre season stats with an average of 23.3 points. https://www.foxsports.com/nba/zion-williamson-player-stats?seasonType=3he has to bring that in regular season... Preseason and rookie leagues cant be used. Regular season is soooooo different than preseason. I actually think he will have a good career if he stays healthy but he is coming off injury to play with guys who are in much better game condition. It will take him some time to find his legs. I'm looking forward to see him play though

Who can stop Giannis? He is keep rolling with amazing plays and performances something that I didn't expect happening when the season started.
That was the same impression of him last year. Also, the reason why he got the Season MVP title. But ended up eliminated in Eastern Conference Finals even they are up by 2 wins on their first 2 games. His dominance was able to stop even how monster he is prior to ECF and I think the majority was surprised. We might have seen an unstoppable Giannis today, as usual, but I want to see him maintain that dominance up to the finals. Now, who can stop Giannis? Let's see on playoffs.

Yeah I dont think there is any surprise here really. Giannis did not break out this year, he was this good last year too. Come playoff time if he wants to make a name for himself he needs to dominate there too and carry his team. I dont see a situation in the east where the bucks dont win a 7 game series. One game is anyone's game but over 6-7 games I like the bucks here.

They were embarrassed by the Raptors last playoffs after they easily beat the Celtics but since no raptors in the east, probably now the real challenge is in the NBA finals, that if they will have the same easy journey again like last year.

I think he is still improving specially his 3's this year, no more airballs, But what counts is that if he can bring his team to the ECF and then to the finals. Yes, he won the MVP last year but if you wanted to be consider an elite and maybe in the Mt. Rushmore in this era, he need to win a ring.

When it comes to east it isnt ideal to be that confident and also heat, celtics and raptors is still tailing behind. About Giannis performance then i wont be surprised if he would be on fire on playoffs and going to finals would boost up more his popularity and standings.

+415 for the Orlando Magic against the Clippers. Who took the bet? Having a difficult time to take it, the game will start any minute. Can I call myself crazy too? I really want to take this bet. There is just a large risk. 2 games winning streak and yesterday was against the Lakers. They might be tired.

Take it if you believe too, no upset has happened in tonight's game, so probably that's the game where we see an upset. I took a different game, took the Nuggets to win against the Warriors at home and it looks like warriors are a different team tonight, they are having a good start.

He did made some good alteration with his style. Shooting outside shots so that he wont be predictable as always. Last year, he will just always bust his way into the rim and 3 defenders are already waiting for him because they already knew what he will do. Now, he cannot be left outside the 3 point line. He created something that will scare the hell out of a defender because of the hesitation move in the three point line. Next thing he must do is to perfect those pass to his team mates. They are always open whenever he penetrates under the rim.

Threes and passing as stated would just add to his unpredictableness but he should also be able to defend other post players even with the position he currently is in. His body is for sf but manning the pf position of the enemy can be hard for him, as most PF stars have bulk bodies.

I still don't think Giannis and his team will no2 have an easy journey in the East becauase every team on that conference are also good and no one knows which one will suddenly explode. Yeah! I agree that they can now easily swipe Raptors because of they don't have Kawhi anymore but Celtics is still there. Actually, I find Celtics stronger today compare the times when they got Irving. They are more harmonized and got better ball rotation. Well, Let's find out if they can now make it to the Finals or they will choke again .

Don't count out Philly as well, right now they are very inconsistent, but I'm sure that when playoff comes, they are going to be a different team. Of course defending champ Raptors and the newly build Celtics are also going to contend in the east. But I'm thinking that Giannis can get past all of them, and make it to the finals this year.

I also love the atmosphere as long as it will remain a friendly debate. How funny to think that we suddenly became sports analysts because of that rookie. Guys, I think Ja Morant is better than Zion. (Lol sorry for creating additional issue , just kidding) That ain't a problem. I think so too. Ja is more like a whole package of a playmaker and a shooter. I can live with that if I am to create a team. You will just need to fill up holes that Ja needs afterwards. Freaking 27 point lead for the Clippers. Glad I doubted myself. It was almost the last minute. I guess I save my damn ass there with some dollars. Next game please.

Looks like I managed to jinx Utah Jazz by mentioning their 10 wins in a row and good form the other day, they lost last night. Pelicans beat them 138-132 after overtime.
It was fun game to watch, Brandon Ingram scored career-high 49 points and lead Pelicans to victory. Mitchell had great game too, scoring 46 but that simply wasn't enough. As usual Jazz had crappy bench, except Clarkson all others were thrash, while Pelicans bench did their job.
It will be interesting to see Zion coming back, as this team definitely has some talent.

Raptors can't stop him this playoffs because they got no Leonard anymore. What team would stop him in the playoffs, probably the sixers but they are so unstable on the road, or the Celtcic? well, Bucks can still beat them. Now, it's too early to say that Giannis is unstoppable not unless if he can prove that he can carry his team to the top.
Giannis might once again win the MVP race and we can also expect an improvement in the playoffs as last playoffs was a big lesson for them to learn. I could bet on that.

Although they have been stopped last night by Pelicans, I think Utah Jazz are one of the coolest teams in this moment of the season. Great team, great chemistry, great and pretty balanced squad. I really like them and I hope they will get into the playoffs. Maybe with the chance to even go beyond second round. Who knows what they're capable of.
