Damn! Death has no exemption. It's just sad Kobe and his daughter died in a tragic accident.
A very sad news for the NBA and NBA fans around the world as another NBA star that shined the most during his era have died today.
Nobody will forget how he inspired a lot of basketball players around the world and we are all mourning.

This has absolutely nothing to do with sports, gambling, whatever.

Anyone who loses their lives alongside their daughter is a tragedy.

It was a great gesture today for all of the NBA games to start with turnovers to honour Number 24 and 8. It just goes to show the influence that Kobe's had over the whole league, especially the younger generation who grew up idolizing him.

I'll remember Kobe as a man above all of his sporting accolades. No one deserved to exit so suddenly and unexpectedly in this kind of fashion. RIP.

I'm really saddened on the news about Kobe's passing, it's an honor to watch him play throughout his career.

I saw the news when one of my friends have sent a link about this and at first, I was hesitant to believe in what it shows because of the "possibility" of it being fake news. The refusal to believe it makes it more unbearable. Anyways, after that, I scrolled in my news feed and all I could see are "RIP Mamba" making me more convinced. Anyways, I was really saddened by it and my prayers are out for the family, to everyone who has lost their loved ones in that situation.

I already woke up few hours ago and until now I can't get over to Kobe's sudden death along with his daughter . Their both young and also good people that's why it's really heartbreaking for me to know that they died unexpectedly. Why oh why?

Honestly, I don't like Kobe during his prime days but after he retired I started to admire him because I saw his good character. That's why I'm not shocked why most of Filipino basketball fans serve him as inspiration on their journey. Men, women, kids, professional basketball players or even those who are just playing for fun (like me) love Kobe. We will miss you Kobe, rest in peace .

Tears fell while watching tributes.
Raptors vs Spurs used the shot clock as tribute for him because of the 24 seconds which is his number.

Utter disbelief. I thought it was just some sick joke the first time i saw the news on social media. Turns out he's really gone. A lot of us grew watching and admiring him, and seeing him grow as well. The guy's done a lot and it's really heartbreaking to realize we won't be seeing him anymore. Though what's more devastating was that gianna was with him. Talented young girl with so much potential in carrying her father's basketball legacy. This indeed is a sad day.
