Its really important for a team to have reliable 3 point shooter since those guys could be a game changer especially on critical situations. That's why Lebron try to recruit those guys to want to build a more stronger Lakers next season. But its like all of them avoid to be added on Lakers roster maybe they know that they cannot get something with that team since maybe they will get less credit if there team would perform better, but would get a lot of blame if they perform bad just like what happen to them for past seasons.
Yes, Lebron knows that he needs 3 point shooter amongst his team mates, but in the case of KCP, I remember that he was frustrated because KCP doesn't want to shoot the ball in crucial minutes that's why they had to let him go. Comes Monk, he was also a good shooter, but was not a perfect fit because they really don't know where he would be in dying minutes of the game.
