No interesting matchups for me today. But tomorrow, there is, Nuggets vs. Spurs. They’re 1-1 this regular season, and both wins were by single digits. Let’s see if Wemby plays, if not, this could be a win for the Nuggets.

If I were the Spurs, even if Wemby is cleared to play, I’d still give him limited minutes to avoid risking an injury. The playoffs are near, and they’ve already secured the 2nd seed. He’s much more important there than in the remaining regular season games.

The Pistons beat the Timberwolves as well. Edwards was out, but the Pistons were without Cunningham so it was an even fight. Duren once again stepped up and led the team, while Jenkins keeps improving every day. Losing Cunningham was bad at first sight but this led Jenkins to show up his skills. They'll have a much stronger rotation in the play-off. Ausar Thompson is also doing a great job defensively, the Pistons are already the best defensive team in the league.

In the other game, the Thunder made a big difference in the first quarter, the Lakers couldn't do anything to come back. Luka left the game holding his hamstring. Hopefully it's not that serious. The Lakers failed to return after 30+ point difference, I fell asleep in the 3rd quarter.

I wish the NBA was not really an EAST vs WEST thing so we can see teams just like the champions league so we can see games like pistons vs lakers or Timberwolves in a 7 game series which will allow players the top players to face each other properly

Luka getting injured in that game was a huge factor. If it’s a hamstring issue, he could be out for a few weeks, which is really bad timing with the playoffs coming up.
It looks like bad news overall, especially after the Lakers were building momentum with that winning streak and then this happens.

How long is the regular season? Because it's said that he's going to miss the remainder of the regular season. When everyone is cheering him up to get this season's MVP, this happened. Truly a bad timing not just for the Lakers but also for himself. We don't know if he'll recover fast but there are also some other stars who have got this type of injury and what we can do is to simply hope that he'll get back on his shape and will have that complete recovery. It's all that we can ask and pray for Luka whether you're a fan or not, you like him or not.

The season is over in 9 days. It looks likely that Luka will probably be out to start the playoffs as well. Hopefully LeBron and co can take care of round 1 and give Luka some extra rest time.

Geographically it's not very easy, but if technology improves and travel times get shorter, it might become possible in the coming years. Players are already playing close to 100 games a year and have very little time to rest between games. If the schedule becomes lighter, we might see changes like this.

There are 9 games tonight, but weirdly none of them have a TV broadcast. I would've liked to watch the Rockets game. They still have a chance to finish 3rd in the West. They only have 6 games left, but they have the potential to win all of them. Luka is officially out for the regular season, so we might see a drop-off from the Lakers.

Tomorrow there's an early Nuggets vs. Spurs game on Prime, that's a must-watch game for me.

Game is not really interesting, Hornets up 20 in the 3rd quarter and we all know the Pacers are tanking for the worst record for the lottery coming up. I'm a Pacer fan and want the m to get a good lottery pick, but tanking is shitty for fans that paid for those seats. Noone wants to go to a game and watch their team lose.

Next year when Haliburton is back, Pacers will be contenders again in the East.

Looking at their roster, it seems like they have a shot in competing in the East yet again. Losing Hali really is a big problem for the Pacers, eh? When he's back, let's see how the big three of him, Zubac and Siakam will perform.

I don't know but for me, they've reached the NBA Finals last season because of how good their role players are. Yes, their core players are good no doubt, but if you're a team that's lacking reliable role players, you'll be having a hard time during the playoffs and the Pacers have reliable role players. Those players are still in the team aside from Mathurin, and  even though their stats went down this regular season compared to last season, those might go up again once they compete yet again for the playoff-spot.

Well anyway, they'll get Hali back plus they'll get a good draft pick this year. Who knows? They might be lucky just like the Mavericks and they'll get a top 1-3 pick.

I don’t Wemby is an injury risk for the match against Denver Nuggets, he only missed the game against LA Clippers as a form of precaution and management from the Spurs… I’d expect Wemby to play and not be under any minutes restriction unless there is blowout scenario, the Spurs would definitely need this type of match as a preparation for their post season campaign, Denver Nuggets are probably going to be one of the teams they might have to get past in the western conference playoffs, and every opportunity get some reps before then shouldn’t be taken for granted.

Pistons will be a playoff team in more years to come, i think they have develop a team that is not depending on the star so much they could win a game to make star players rest, this is a good sign to come on their future, can they also lure a superstar on their team?

Yes, that is really very unfortunate that Luka will be out that long as we are entering the playoffs right now. For sure, his chances are slim now as it could be between Wemby, SGA and Jokic. For the games tonight, mostly all the favorite did win their games and there was no upset as most of the favorite did face tanking team. But just imagine is someone derails it. All blow out games, except for the Pels who lost to the Kings. Zion going for a game tying attempt but was block. And then another block of Caldwell against Jeremiah Fears to sell the win for them. San Antonio Spurs are having a winning streak of 11 and it will be interesting to see whether Nuggets will break that streak or Spurs will be able to extend that streak to 12. Nuggets have already clinched a berth in playoffs but still their winning stats are behind Spurs. Victor Wembanyama has officially been removed from list of injuries which means he will play against Denver Nuggets at Ball Arena and that will be a massive boost for Spurs.

With that, crucial games, I mean the Spurs need to be hardened and gain that experience needed in preparation for the playoff. And going against a former champion in the Nuggets, for me it's a must win game for the San Antonio.

It looks like Tatum is starting to find his rhythm... Did you see his trying for a triple-double in the last moments?    His performance has been really good for a few games.

This one supposed to be an epic moment for Flagg, but unfortunately the game didn't end up well to them since they lose for lacking of good support and their teams seems struggle so bad especially on defensive ends.

I think there's less chance they do that again since Nico is out of their team and also they provably want to get another huge backlash from fans. Since they will get more angry if they are going to trade another young star like Flagg again. Mavs need to rebuild next season. Then find those players that can support Flagg well on court, also Kyrie is provably back next season so maybe we could see different result from them next year.

Yep, this is really bad news for the Lakers. But as far as I know, players typically miss a little over a month with this type of injury. To be more precise, it takes players an average of 35 days to recover. So yes, Luka will most likely miss the first round of the playoffs, which means LeBron needs to take the initiative into his own hands.

A few months ago he took the title of the youngest player to score 35 points from LeBron. Now, he just dropped 51. This 18 year old kid is averaging 20 points in the NBA. I can't wait to see how he develops really.
