My bad absolutely. Bitvest is one of my oldest accounts and the thing is with old accounts I usually signed them up for fun, never thinking I'd be using them seriously. I've now got to go back and find all my old accounts and start changing passwords and adding 2fa. It's crazy but this was something I totally forgot because it's just an old account I leave,

Account is back in my control, correct. Unfortunately, my funds are not OK. The guy kept trying to withdraw everything again and again until he eventually managed to get it. The funny thing is I login every day in general and the once I did not was the day he logged in otherwise I might have noticed it and cancelled or informed earlier.

Dogecoin invest was over 100% profit too, all gone. My fault.

Doge is now worth $0.012 so it has a long road to go to the $1. We saw this before and it goes up a little and will return back to 20-25sat range.

If your account has been compromised been there are likely your device is compromised so don't take it too easy because you got access to your account back.

I suggest you to change all the passwords used in the device and don't forget to include gmail or any exchange accounts and it will be better to reinstall the OS or if it was a mobile better go for a reset it will remove the malicious software from your device.

I agree here with you because 2FA is just extra layer and you need to do work with this as well recently I read few cases users enable 2FA but still lost funds from accounts because they protect all things on same computer and most of time computer was online so just try to have secure yourself with this all as its very important for you and your funds right now too many cases appearing about this all.

I would say malware is different case here but for sure we can always minimize the possibility of being hacked.
What we can do to protect our accounts:
- having password with complicated password
- not using the same email/password for different accounts

You can visit B&H section and there you can find lot of fake crypto wallets has been exposed everyday which shows that how the scrunity works on Google protect so you can't simply trust them any apps even if its from official Google Play Store.

We can't expect 100% security as well as privacy but we need to look out for what we can do maximum on our side.

To explain, the withdrawal history shows the hacker tried unsuccessfully many times to withdraw and cancelled, I guess hoping the hot wallet would replenish. Unfortunately that was for BTC only. His LTC and DOGE went through easily.

And yes. Doge ATH just after that, so I guess he had a lot of money. I don't even want to say how much, it hurts me to think about it.

Many think it's so hassle to do that but actually it's quite helpful when someone trying to hack or stole our main device since they cannot easily penetrate on our accounts since our 2FA and other important details is on other device.

But for people who doesn't have 2 phones maybe they can simply put it on hidden folder and renamed it so that the hacker will get confused about what you put on your device if they can locate it.
