But the payments were pending for couple of months before Lutpin stepped down from managing the campaign that is what I meant this payment pending issue is not new when it comes to bitvest and 777, anyway Lightlord says his health is not that good and also he didn't login for weeks now so we don't know what is actually happening in his personal life. Even CB announced that members are free to remove the signatures and their spots will be retained whenever the campaign comes back live.

Since Bitvest was first mentioned on the bitcointalk forum, it has gained a lot of popularity. Without the bitcointalk forum, Bitvest would probably not exist today. Of course, they can stop their promotion here, but I doubt they can attract new clientele without it.

I do not think so, not all casinos get a success by advertising the casino in this forum. This forum is just one of the way to promote the casino because there are many other places out there to advertise a project such as social media where many other products uses social to promote/advertise the product. It is exaggerated if you think that this forum is the only one place to attract new players. Without a doubt bitcointalk is the biggest crypto related forum but it does not mean that there is no other place to find customers/users.

No, I do not think I'm exaggerating. 777Coin and Bitvest are among the oldest crypto casinos and, according to what I have seen, advertised on this forum exclusively. For example, lightlord does not even maintain any active social media profiles, as opposed to most newer casinos. Due to the fact that these are unlicensed and unregulated casinos, which, by the way, are not very visually attractive, they could hardly compete with today's market. Although I could be wrong, but I think that lightlord's only advantage was the reputation he has built in this community.

I would guess that there will always be a big problem with this campaign, lightlord simply refuses to let things be and that is why he keeps getting called out and I am 100% sure that given enough long time CB will leave this as well. There is nothing managers could do in this situation because they are just following the orders from a higher up and when they can't get any news from them then they just quit which is the reasonable thing to do.

Lightlord has to deal with a company situation where even if he is AFK, then the company and staff will let it continue for a long time without him, but since he refuses that then he keeps collecting all the money and barely pays people whenever he wants to. We all know that his campaigns also pay very little as well, so dude basically just runs the worst one in that sense. I suppose we are getting closer to end of things for bitvest.

That contributes to Lighlord two casinos running well for the last six or more years but after the campaign was paused and many complaints coming in that reputation is started to crumble this is not good for a casino if they want to continue to operate, they still have players but these are loyal players but I doubt if they can recruit new ones, I don't see them promoting anymore in any advertising platform it's zero marketing.

He should really be responsible on at least contacting the manager on whats the status of the campaign whether they would continue or resume it or would be totally stopped rather than leaving people

Of course you can run a casino without advertising it on Bitcointalk. However, when it comes to cryptocurrency casinos, Bitcointalk is by far the largest forum in the industry. Also, I believe that the cost of advertising here can be a lot less if we dedicate some of our own time.

Yes, even without forum advertising, you can operate a casino but the forum is one of the best ways to introduce and get exposure for a casino. That's why you see a lot of casinos are advertising through campaigns because it's lesser in cost and effective in the niche.

The exact target market is in here, you have bitvest and other crypto casinos. People in here are versed with cryptocurrencies and a mix of being a gambler so that's really effective marketing.

Yes you are right that CB announced for both campaigns that has been paused and waiting for the escrow so that CB can continue the two campaigns. But what are we talking here is lightlord did not announced by himself all he announced is that he  will put in escrow in the campaign, so payment is every week and on time without delay going forward.

Well until there's no announcement came from the campaign manager then I think the campaign will be paused since if he let that continue then he will receive the anger of the participants if lightlord failed to sent the payments for much longer times. And its good that the manager do this since its also stressful to the part of participant for not receiving their payments on time or to have long delays.

Is that wrong? I mean isn't it obvious that the campaign is the representation of a casino? Secondly, if there is a problem with the campaign itself and not with the casino then it would be understandable to say that go talk that in the campaign place, like a problem with the manager or something. However, here we are talking about literally the owner of the website not being online enough and at one point we even had hot wallet being empty and not refilled which is a big problem for any casino.

Very well said. This is exactly how I feel. Despite this being one of the darkest scenarios you describe, it does not mean something like this can never happen. But, what about Zodiac1233, who has been active in this thread since it started? He is a lead developer at Bitvest, and if I'm not mistaken, he knows lightlord in real life as well. If lightlord had health problems, why didn't Zodiac take over the casino management or at least let the public know what was going on? That would be an acceptable course of action, IMHO.
