Wow, now that's quite a few suggestions here! :-)
For intentional confusion: "I'm paying with my kee today!" (or kii or similar spelling)
Or, if you want to overdo it: Kryptonite! ..the nemesis of all superbanks.. ;-)
I too like mineral/stone names. Quartz, Obsidian, Turquoise, Garnet, endless possibilities!
Ente
those are good suggestions, I especially like "kee" or "kii". Right to the point.

I must admit that idea of "popsicle - slush on a stick" made me laught. However I'm not sure if it's usable for the name of a serious project :-).

I quite like some of recent suggestions. At least I think we're moving to the right direction.
Kryptonite is (tm) of Superman, isn't it? :-) I like Garnet, I can imagine something like this. Problem with those "kee" or "kii" is that it's hard to distinguish in the talk: "Do you have Bitcoin Kii here?" "You mean Bitcoin private keys or that Bitcoin hardware token?"

Heh, it's also similar to my surname "Palatinus" (origin of the word is probably in "Paladin")

I don't much like "my*" names, but in this case, maybe my earlier suggestion of "myKee" or "mikee" would alleviate the problem you mention.
