Trading Lounge updates:

It is now possible to change your username in the account settings.
Keep in mind that you can only change it once a week.

I may have totally missed it somewhere, but is there a way to trade the equivalent of what I know as options within this platform?

Thanks

Thanks for the reply!

I like CFD's, I think this sounds like a good platform.

I don't work for 1broker.com but, there is no interest when you trade 1:1 because they are not loaning you anything. Once you leverage there's interest, but I don't know if there's a 'time' that it's incurred every 24 hours or not. You might be able to trade around...they'll have to say. (this is the about only way they make money though, so I'm thinking it would be hard for them to say!)

Correct. There are no overnight charges for unleveraged positions. (Except for positions on BTC/USD)

I been using and love 1broker but I've switched over for btcusd and oil to whaleclub.co which looks really promising - they got euro, oil and gold though not all cfd markets but they're going to be adding cfds regularly.

They also have instant execution which you used to have and now dropped it and I can't do without. for btcusd they have 10x leverage and 30BTC max position size which is higher. and most importantly for me Ive traded volatility on whaleclub and the spreads are fixed. at some points on 1broker the spreads go up so high i can't trade anymore eg when a news event hits and im just left with my balls in my hands instead of banking massive profits.

and it hurts to say it but WC have far superior UI (esp on mobile) and feels like the team there is adding new features often - I feel 1broker has let us down in terms of ui improvements but I still believe.

i don't mean this as a rant just an opinion. i'll keep trading some markets on 1broker until WC opens those up or someone better comes along. in any case the competition is good for us because trading costs will need go down to attract more customers.

I would  agree that competition between exchanges is a good thing, as it creates incentive for the developers to continuously improve their platform. That said, there is a large update on the way, and more information about that will be made public closer to deployment.

The spreads and fees on 1broker have always remained competitive with our competition, as highlighted in a comparative chart, supplied by a Reddit user - https://www.reddit.com/r/BitcoinMarkets/comments/4bgngo/fee_comparison_trading_bitcoin_on_cfd_sites_vs/

Thanks for your feedback and happy trading!  Smiley

Hey! Yes, the leverage you use is adjustable. All you need to do is type in the leverage amount you want, or adjust it with the scroll-able dial. Keep in mind that the leverage available does vary across some markets.

You can view the maximum leverage for each market here: https://1broker.com/?c=cfds
