Even if you use Bitcoin through Tor, the way transactions are handled by the network makes anonymity difficult to achieve. Do not expect your transactions to be anonymous unless you really know what you're doing.

It's a bit lighter on it's feet is Litecoin, let's hope for a jump up to the $15 a coin we saw over recent years Smiley

There is not much new work done in litecoin. It always follows bitcoin in technologies. So why should one buy litecoin apart from it is the second largest coin?

some months ago it rose to 8-9 USD without much media attention.

@newbitcoins

the main delevopment is in bitcoin of course. but Litecoin has the second largest network and a good brand and is like a fallback system. i would hold some Litecoin too if you own Bitcoin.

The peak was around $48, if I remember correctly.

At that time, the cost of mining was high, there was no ASIC. So not many people wouldl sell at a cheap price.

emissions halved now.... $48+ will come again wait and see. LTC and Doge will rise high again along with many good alts.

Litecoin uses the momentum of the Bitcoin price pump. I guess we will see prices near the last Litecoin pump again. Near 8$.

It was last $8 before the halving, now the price parity would be closer to $16. Of course this is based simply on coins being generated, not the supply on-hand, so I would guess a bit lower, maybe $12. Of course, if BTC continues and regains $1,000+ territory, the sky's the limit even with LTC.

You are litecoin guy. You think litecoin is dead? Very ironic.

I think if litecoin keeps on developing and offer something new before bitcoin does, it will survive. Otherwise, it will be dead.
