Anyone wanting to use a bitcoin currency would just use bitcoin... I need bitcoin to buy VOX anyway... I'm not going to buy BTC, then use that to buy VOX for some game... and neither is the general public...

Any reputable game would accept BTC, not VOX (perhaps both, but not just VOX, that would be suicide)

Jim Blasko is the "lead dev", and he doesn't even know how to code... look at his github for UNB, and other coins he tried playing with... the only commits from him are editing a README file!

I guarantee you he is not capable of even updating the code with bugfixes & features from bitcoin core... he could not even merge changes if he wanted to (the real reason he isn't going to release the source code)

They must not be using any of bitcoins code. The bitcoin license says that anyone using the bitcoin code must have the code open source.
