I am not buying too often. I bought some when I need to purchase miner. Now I buy some as I feel that price will go up. Will see how it will go.

Share with us what's your main reason for buying bitcoins?
I bought for the first time bitcoin when I hear about it. It was more than 2 years and half ago. I bought 4 bitcoin and the price was about 63 us dollar 1 bitcoin. I eat myself today to not bought 100 and not only 4. What was the reason of the bought? Initially because I wanted to be part of an opportunity online which accepted only bitcoin. This site make me know bitcoin and make me interested to learn more about it. Then I continue to learn more and more about it and slowly become affectionate with it. More learned and more become convinced about its potential. So initially was for being part of an opportunity and then because had conviction that it will be important some day. I have again this conviction and continue to buy little amounts (cannot buy more) time after time. |

Two reasons in my case: curiosity for the phenomenom and greed.
Curiosity has been sparked by the fact that Bitcoin might expand to be a major factor in the financial world, and perhaps one day be the financial world itself. The possibilities are gigantic but lack of public awareness and acceptance could hinder the uprising of crypto. With greed I mean the possibility to profit from the volatile prices of bitcoin (buy low, sell high. At least, that's the plan). Right now I aim to gain profit from bitcoin but at the same time expand my amount of crypto over time.

I buy them because they are shiny and I get a good feeling looking at them. When I get enough I will stack them into fun shapes like I do with poker chips.

Whenever I can buy I do until I reach my target to have at least 10 Bitcoins.I am buying and collecting through different ways and already reached more than half of my target.Why I am buying the reason is simple price of bitcoin will boom in couple of years from now onwards and this is life time chance to do something for bright future.

I keep buying bitcoins the reason is this will be more precious than metal in future.I am holding and buying with extra money and don't mess up with my needs for everyday life.I believe one day bitcoin will create new class of elite in next 5 or 10 years.

I have a different problem with greed, I feel that I never have enough, so I am always trying to get my hands on some extra coins. Lately I have started doing dumb things and making mistakes because of this. Greed is a nasty player! |

I might buy BTC occasionally, if I need to make some quick money and I see that bitcoin is doing well. I never hold more than a hundred dollars in my wallet for a long period of time, though. I don't think bitcoin is currently stable enough to accommodate long-term savings.

I was buying $50 worth every week when I got paid. I did that for most of this year. I dumped them all at $420. Hopefully it's rinse and repeat. We will see.
I also have my original stash I'm keeping to $0 or $1000000000

There are only 2 mainly reasons I see why people buying btc's. First is by taking advantage when the price is dip to make profit and second for hodl purposes which can make them really rich supposedly if the price will kick.
How about buying for collections? Nah not recommended for now.

Share with us what's your main reason for buying bitcoins? I only buy when it's dumped in big exchanges. I like cheap coins so much. Other than buying I usually hold my coins, I used to spend a lot but now I'm waiting block halving. I guess we'll see at least %100 raise so holding is more reasonable these months. |

I am trying to buy coins right now.Because I think Price will be running high again.No one knows exactly what will happen.But this is a sure method if you buy 100 coins right now 10 years or so you will be too rich or poor.So i am thinking to invest what i can afford.But i am not investing what i can't afford to lose. Watching the market closely and the movement of price.I think this is the right time to buy again the price will hit the moon soon. Don't Invest what you can't afford to lose. |
