http://96.126.122.8:3750I have setup an online TRC Block explorer Much like my PPC block explorer. It is in a early stage of development. I have not even reserved a Domain name yet, or have the home page setup with a PHP script to the correct port. I am unaware of an official symbol for Terracoin, so if somebody could point me in the right direction, I can put it in the explorer. I may just merge the PPC and TRC explorer together instead of two separate engines. On the other hand, PPC needs significant code changes to ABE, so that may not be practical. Let me know about any issues or ideas you may have. Please donate if you can , VPS hosting has a cost associated with it. Looks awesome!

[...] Thanks man ! sent you a small amount of TRC, i'll try to give you more from time to time. Now we can inspect first blocks of the chain, without messing with trillions of rpc commands (already had a look to a few first mined blocks) ... and inspect our pool's main receiving address, to see if it really distributes any single penny received (no trust issue here, but a bug may exist)

Will make a donation once home and can ..... but this made for some interesting reading..... block 2524.. sent LOADS of mined blocks in different addresses to one here.... http://96.126.122.8:3750/a/12PyB6oh3jholding some 17,000+ TRC !!! Not bad... i just hope that this was one of the founders of TRC and their collection of coins.... as this person had almost half the total coins created at block 2524

Quite fat miners joined the movement quickly, up to a few days ago, there was a 23+ Ghashes/s miner there, he's been there for a while ... Difficulty varies a lot currently, but for small miners .. it's already too late to stand a chance (fortunately, we have pools now)

Please donate if you can , VPS hosting has a cost associated with it. Do not complicate the simple issue. Just use good free hosting, the one that offers free domain name as well. You just started the project but already upped the bar high. What if donations are insufficient to cover costs? You will cancel project or start begging around for more money, like countless other websites? Project itself is very useful. Just don't make the same mistake as countless others did, and make it's existence dependant on donations. If it gets to that point, I may try it out. The issue is that I need full root access and to save my sanity, be running the same distro and version on the server as my local development/testbed. In other words, dependency HELL. In fact I will be moving PPC Explorer to the new VPS that TRC explorer is on because of it. Too many dependency issues and things like repository versions for one distro may not have the same features. I recently ran into that issue with TRC and the VPS PPC is on. The OpenSSL libraries on Centos do not support ecdsa, and when attempting to install the generic version of OpenSSL, A whole new set of dependency problems arose. I would much rather spend my time in actual development then chasing dependencies around, hence I now host on a VPS that either runs the same distro/version or allows one to upload their own OS to the VPS.

Ah ok so it was not a block Looks good man and with my logo i have observed that every time one mines a block, the reward goes to a fresh address. When one goes to move those coins, it looks like a bunch of ~20 coin transactions from different addresses even though it is coming from the same client.

I read somewhere that bitcoin's genesis block transaction also lead to .. nowhere, never had a look at it though.. not sure it's a requirement, or some laziness. Regarding the 50 TRC amount .. hehe .. no idea That makes that block (even) more unique i guess..

"he bitcoins in Genesis block are not spendable (but this did not prevent some well meaning halfbrains from sending additional coins to that address). But the private key for that genesis block exists (or at least existed) so Satoshi could prove his identity at any chosen moment if he wishes and if the key is not lost. I wonder if this is a bug or Satoshi was so bright to include this intentionally?"
Regarding the genesis block 'timestamp' sentence, i had a look earlier (while joining the network .. i'm curious ), it's a tribute ("RIP") message to a close (i guess). Edit: hop .. here it is, directly from the source // Genesis block const char* pszTimestamp = "June 4th 1978 - March 6th 2009 ; Rest In Peace, Stephanie.";

Thank you for all who have donated so far. I have seen a growing number of thread/questions about various compiled versions of PPC and other Alt coins. Would there be in interest in having the cryptocoinexplorer site host some of these files? I would compile these myself, and I can compile just about anything. Although some programmers insistence on using libraries and headers that are Linux only can get a bit frustrating.. (I am looking at you resource.h header.. IF anybody knows how to get around this header during a Linux/Windows cross compile, let me know. It is probably something simple that would require a smack to my forehead )

That seems like a pretty good hint to start working on in figuring out who Satoshi was.

// Genesis block const char* pszTimestamp = "June 4th 1978 - March 6th 2009 ; Rest In Peace, Stephanie."; Is that in the Bitcoin Genesis block? That seems like a pretty good hint to start working on in figuring out who Satoshi was. You mean Terracoin founder? Satoshi left different message in Bitcoin genesis block. Anyway, coin explorer does not label orphaned blocks as such, it just lists them below next valid block, as can be seen here: http://www.cryptocoinexplorer.com:3750/block/00000000002adf857a2e75a22345e72f1c97e08ada5da7426e25b5b3d0adcbc0Block listed below "Next block" is it's orphan, e.g. both blocks are on height 18689. "Next block (Orphan)" label would be nice. Another thing with coin explorer and Terracoins is "Coins created" cell = how come value for it does not ends with 0.0000 ? I mean, genesis block added 50 TRC and all subsequent blocks added 20 TRC, so there is no way sum can have 9.999 at end. I will look into the code to identify orphan blocks and fix the issue. The .99999 issue could be a rounding error or possibly due to odd blocks like: http://www.cryptocoinexplorer.com:3750/block/0000000000050aa4ee9529721b046fb247df6b9ec4fada81d7a93c17d9186992The raw transaction shows two generation transactions of 19.8 and .2 ?? I will also look into and fix the code for that also. Thank you for bringing these issues to my attention.
